This model sky tracker comes with a counterweight and declination mount. It is very convenient for heavier cameras and lenses, e.g., a DSLR and at least medium length zoom lens. Lighter cameras can attach with a ball mount (separate) for a very compact package. I found it easy to align the mount to Polaris using the built in polar alignment telescope - you do have to get Polaris within the alignment telescope's field of view by leveling the mount, setting your latitude and using a compass with magnetic offset. One minor issue: with the full setup (counterweight and declination mount), you can't control the orientation of the camera - it's like a telescope in that regard, but without the ability to rotate the focal plane. I found tracking to be very accurate, and I'm very happy with the device.

Well I haven't gotten to use it yet because of the storms here in California but I do like the build quality and the new features like being able to remove the tracker from the alt-azm base and reverse it. The new design of the alt-azm base works great. The adjustable scope reticule brightness is a HUGE plus for me. Sometimes Polaris is very dim and the old tracker scope's led was too bright. The dim setting will be a huge plus in these instances. The negatives for me are the size and the weight capacity. The boxy design of the new model is a little awkward on the Celestron alt-azm tripod I use, especially with the counterweight kit attached. I'm not sure why iOptron needed to make the case that much bigger if the innards are still the same. Then the maximum weight capacity has gone down by a pound. Not sure why since this mount looks beefier than the original model. As soon as the skies are clear, I will try it out. I'm sure it will be just as accurate as the original version but hopefully maybe a bit better. For the extra features of the Pro, I would definitely recommend it over the original SkyTracker unless you need a more streamlined-looking model. If that is the case, you still can't go wrong with the original SkyTracker!

Great notebook. I use this as my gardening tracker so it holds up well.

I wanted a slightly larger upgrade from my old nuvi 55LM. This one is really nice and I like the voice command function. I doubt I will upload the phone app or use the bluetooth function. I just needed a good basic gps. My only complaint is the manual that can be downloaded from the internet. It covers several different models and has a lot of stuff that doesn't pertain to my specific model which is very annoying. They should have a manual for each specific model.

An excellent, inexpensive and reliable performing speedlight. Be mindful that this model offers manual and multi light but not TTL capability. This is another Yongnuo purchase for me after their excellent speedlight products have turned me into a fan.

Hi there, I have to ask here since the Pre Amp chapter of the Model 30's Manual's is pretty simple. I'm connecting the input of my EAR HP4 Headphone Amplifier to Pre Amp Out output of Model 30 - no sound comes to EAR HP4 while in Pre Amp Input on the front panel with SACD on. Checked the cables: there is the sound, if connected SACD to Headphone amplifier directly, but not via Pre Amp output on Model 30. The EAR HP4 Manual clearly states, that the input should taken from the preamplifier. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Instruction manual was for a different model than the one I ordered and was basically useless anyway. I watched a utube video relating to my specific model that was helpful. The unit itself arrived in perfect condition with extensive packaging. Once turned on it took a while to reach my chosen humidity level but has operated flawlessly since. I’ve only had the unit for a couple weeks so I can’t comment on long term reliability.

This specific Lens Baby model is much easier to use than previous versions. The manual focus works very well and has a lot of latitude and I'm very pleased with my images. I also like the bolt in aperture ring.
