I bought Waves NX Head Tracker to use it with Logic Pro X in a Mac Pro Mid 2010 OS El Capitan and Bluetooth 2.1 I needed Bluetooth 4.0, so I bought this StarTech adapter. Plugged into my computer, but it was not recognized as BT 4.0. Then I downloaded Hardware_IO_Tools_for_Xcode_7.3.dmg, and installed Bluetooth Explorer in the Applications folder. Opened it, Tools menu and choose HCI Controller Selector, I clicked at the arrows and selected Broadcom Corp and clicked Activate. Done My computer recognized the StarTech adapter as Bluetooth 4, and I was able to use my excellent Waves NX Head Tracker. 5 |

This receiver is reasonably priced, does what I need and has great sound. The Bluetooth capability is especially nice, along with the phono input. 5 |

I bought this receiver to replace a 25-year old Sony receiver that lost its sound capability. This receiver is basic (only 2 channels) but does have phono and Bluetooth connections plus an A/B speaker feature. Set-up was a snap (didn't need the manual) and Bluetooth pairing the receiver with my Android phone and Linux laptop was a breeze. I also think the FM receiver is a step-up in reception quality from my old one. 5 |

My truck is old and doesn't have Bluetooth capability. This speaker has worked really well, providing great sound at a nominal price. Very glad I bought it! 5 |
