Fitness Tracker Wearable In Pants Pocket

Headline probably shows my age. I have used this for several years with my D5300 for landscape and macro photography. It is indispensable for taking sharp pictures, with the camera mounted on a tripod. The reason for the review after all these years is to relate a recent incident. I normally put the device in my pants pocket when shooting to keep it handy. I recently came back from a trip where I forgot to take it out of the pocket at the end of the shoot. As a result, the device went through my washing machine with the pants. I pulled out the battery compartment, dried off the battery, and left the device opened up for a day. I then put it back together and IT STILL WORKS. Not bad for modern electronics.

This little guy rocks ! It fits nicely in pants pocket, light weight, and bright. The user interface is typical of many of these type of flashlights, easy to get to know once you have 'played with it' a while. What's outstanding is the beam pattern that comes from the 4 LEDs. It's broad and very smooth, no hot spots great for close-range inspections. The instant press and release turbo mode from any brightness setting is handy. also. This is an excellent short-throw light, just don't accidently leave it on high or turbo close to anything that can melt, it gets HOT !!!

This is my second ML-L7. The first one worked fine until it went though the wash cycle in my pants pocket. Not waterproof. I personally prefer wired remotes, but this is the only remote (besides your smartphone) for the Z50 or Z fc. I use it with two Z50 bodies. I will eventually get another so I don't have to reconnect going between the bodies. I suggest putting it on a lanyard instead of in your pocket.

This is a great flashlight because it is compact and light enough to fit in a pants or jacket pocket and it's very bright! I also have the Polysteel 400 which is rated at 440 lumens and the PX1 is much brighter.
