Fix Fraying Headphone Wires

Excellent and inexpensive fix for problem with loud band that can be very over-powering. With the headphone amplifier they can turn themselves up as loud as they want in the headphone without affecting the level of the house, less of a headache for the sound technician.

I had been waiting a while for the 10L Navigator Sling to come back in stock and has been worth the wait. I bought it for my mom who had the 6L Sling prior but was overstuffing it to the point where the wire was fraying out from the zipper pull. The 10L is a better fit with enough extra space to fill in the gap between the need for the 6L sling and a 15L backpack. Everything fits perfectly my mom needs it for with a little space to spare too. Even my 12.9” iPad Pro would fit into it. So the only issue I find with it over time will be the zipper pulls with excess pressure on them the wires can start fraying and sticking out to cut you, grab the pulls from the base of the zipper to try and mitigate this.

Bought this right when it came out, and it had some fraying of thread from the manufacturing. Took nearly a year, but wrote PD and they gabe me a new one that is cleaner and better. This is a review more so of PD’s customer service experience, than of the bag, but the bag has gone with me to the grocery store, work and abroad on many Mexico trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this charging cord because it fits well even though my case has a small cut out for my charging cord. I think this would be best used in car chargers or situations where you need to quickly plug in your phone without much hassle making the plug fit. It definitely has a smaller input to the phone compared to other charging wires I use. This cord comes in other colors too which is nice to match up with where you are placing it. The black cord works well with my black car charger. A few people have commented so far about it fraying at the cord input. I can see that happening over time but I’ve had that happen with every charging cord I have used because as you plug in and pull out the plug if you pull at the head of the plug it’ll fray overtime. One thing I’ve used is these plastic cord wraps. They spiral onto the charging cord and strengthen the input point so that the fraying is less likely to happen over time. They are a pain to put on but once they are on you have a cord that’ll last a lot longer.

While I wish it was finished a tiny bit better (fraying ends of straps and some loose stitching), the product works really well, much better than my hacks. After using it for only a week, I can't imagine working on a bright day without it. The full hood is cumbersome, although relocating the neck strap for better balance will likely solve that, but I've been using just the bottom half for all but the brightest conditions. For anything on the water, the full hood makes all that reflection irrelevant. I never review products, but I had to speak up on this one. You'll never go back to hood-less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this item. The cord near the part that connects to my phone wears down and frays. I’m upset that the cord isn’t made more rugged. I own 2 of these Y jacks and in both the same problem with fraying. It is an expensive item. I tried to buy similar Y-Jacks but the quality of the clones is terrible. My Belkin jacks lasted about 4 years and still work despite the fraying. Though with an inherent weakness in the durability of the cable, Belkin Rockstar is the best on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is your basic charging cable. Nothing special about it, the quality seems about the same as the stock one that comes with an iPhone. I like that it comes in multiple colors. It charges as expected for me. I noticed that some people mentioned their cables were exposing wires/fraying. My sister has this issue with her official Apple charge cables as well. Unfortunately these cables are not heavy duty so you can not put them in a position where the end of the cable is bent. I have yet to have the fraying issue with my cables, and I believe it is because I am very careful with the position that I leave it charging in. That said, it would be nice if it were a more heavy duty cable that could be bent any which way with no issues.
