Fix Partition Usb Locked Flash Drive On Mac

I love this drive, the price was great, it has a large capacity, is fast, it's compact and looks great beside my Mac. I partitioned this drive in two and reformated it for my Mac in a couple of minutes. I use one partition for Time Machine backup and the other partition (in addition to another drive) for storing files and photos that I don't want to store on my computer. I own four WD drives and if this one works as reliably as the rest I'll be happy.

I use the drive to back up my laptop and I use another partition to archive all my photos. It isn't USB 3.0 but it is plenty fast when transferring data. I haven't used it for very long but so far so good. I like that is doesnt come preloaded with WD software.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.
