For less than $4.50 this is the best USB flash drive I have been able to find anywhere. I was able to load a 25GB video file in 21 minutes. Hard to beat. 5 |

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is an impressive option for portable storage. It's amazingly small, fit's easily in the palm of my hand. As you might notice from the uploaded picture this drive is unfortunately a bit of a dust magnet, lol. It doesn't affect performance however. The file transfers are fast. The ability to securely encrypt files is a big bonus, especially if you intend to keep business or financial files stored on this drive. This is a great tool for moving files between devices as well as keeping important files backed up. The only thing that would improve this is to include a USB C to USB A adapter as this only connects via USB C and not all computers have available USB C ports. I'm able to connect this to my desktop, laptop and phone using the USB C so I haven't determined if there would be any decrease in file download/upload speeds using a USB C to A adapter. 5 |

I wanted to know the actual Write speed, but didn't get a real world answer. But SanDisk is a GREAT brand (I have several USB drives & Memory cards), so I purchased the 512GB version and tested it myself connecting the USB-C plug to a new Galaxy S22 smartphone with USB-C port. - TEST RESULTS - Transfer of one 2.25GB Video file: Write speed: 43 MB/s Read speed: 100 MB/s - IMPORTANT NOTE: These results might be the optimal since it was ONE large file and the USB Drive was empty (except for that file when reading, so no fragmentation of any kind). With MULTIPLE files, the speed is lower, as on EVERY SSD, HDD, USB Flash Drive and Memory Card. - As every very compact USB drive with two different USB ports on each end that I have used, it gets a bit hot, but so far I never have any problem with any of them. - This one is compact, sturdy and clicks on each USB port position. It also has a hole for carrying. - I am Very happy with my purchase. - If you want faster Read/Write speeds, then an option is to buy Sandisk Extreme Pro SD Card and use an USB Card reader to use it as a USB Flash drive, but total cost is the double of this VERY COMPACT and STURDY USB Drive. Hope this helps other people. 5 |

I used this USB drive for file backups. It is so tiny so that I can put on my key chain. It works much faster than a 32G USB I bought 4 years ago. Highly recommended. 5 |

I've used this drive for a few USB 3.0 large and small file transfers so far and it's fast. I can't speak for the long term durability yet, but the mechanics are fine as of now. I also take really good care of my equipment so I'm not as worried about how tough the drive is. 5 |

This is a super useful USB thumb drive that looks great. I really like being apple to shuttle files between my Mac with USB-C and old PCs with USB-A, like taking docs to the printer or sharing files with colleagues while on a remote job site. It's solid and well built and feels good in the hand. I have added a little key chain tag to the in-built ring so I can always find it easily. 128GB is more than enough for my file direct file transfer needs. Anything larger is on a portable hard drive anyway. I have already bought 3 of these for myself and family. They are great! 5 |

Love this portable SSD for storing my RAW file archive to free up space on my laptops SSD drive. My laptop only has USB-A ports so the Crucial X6 SSD does not perform at it's maximum performance. I get approximately ~20-25 MB/s when writing files to it. There is also a bit of a lag when I edit RAW pics that are stored on the X6 using CaptureOne but that is a function of my laptop only having USB-A and not the X6 SSD drive. 5 |
