Fl Studio 10 Audio Recording

I purchased the Impulse 61 mainly for plugging chords and melodies into FL Studio 10. The keyboard has a great feeling and is weighted like a dream. All of the faders, rotary encoders, and pads were a breeze to program and have opened my workflow to a whole new level. This is lightyears ahead of drawing directly into your DAW with a mouse or trackpad.

I use it for school, and at home for when I am using programs such as Pro Tools, Logic Audio, FL Studio. The Sennheiser HD 280's are comfortable, not heavy, great for mixing, and highly recommended for musical work.

When recording in the studio, or on site, these are a must have. Very crisp, precise audio.

I've been using protools for about 10 years in my recording studio and I think is the best software for record, edit and mix music. I got this version for working in my laptop and now I can work everywhere. The native plug ins woks very well and you can get others of your preference that run well too. For shure I will continue using protools in the future.

I have been recording for over 10 years so I have a basic grasp on the process. I bought these microphones being skeptical but at $108 ($54 each) I gave them a shot. I instantly love these mics. First, I plugged them into my Tascam DR100 (using a stereo mic bar on a stand walking around) and recorded room ambience, my voice, and different effects like running water, hits, etc. They sounded great. I am recording audio samples to place into my synthesizers/samplers to create new sounds. before I would have had to use either my Rode NT1A, Shure SM7B, or my ribbon mic. A lot of the things I record have fast attack times which can occasionally be captured better with smaller condenser microphones. I have yet to try them in my universal audio and other preamps but if they sound this good in my tascam, I believe the will sound great. P.S. - No they are not neumann mics (which are not a one size fit all either) but they are definitely in a class waaaay above their selling price! I didn't misspell way :)

This 8 channel 50' snake was purchased for location recording coupled with an 8 channel audio interface. I used it twice in the first 10 days and it worked, plain and simple.

I semi-professionally do video for bands and events around my area (filming/recording close to 100 bands a year). My favorite piece of equipment has to be my Zoom H6 which I am able to run up to 6 channels to and get a solid audio recording. I have next to zero background in audio recording, and the H6 made it easy enough that an idiot (me) can do it. This is fantastic and all, but if you have phantom power going to that many channels you can expect to have to change the batteries every hour and a half roughly. This just wasn't working for me since occasionally I would have to change batteries up to three times on a night of shooting which costs about $10. Grabbed this and now I can just keep my Zoom H6 plugged in and almost cut out the battery expense 100% which helps my bottom line. If you have ever worked with up and coming musicians, you know that getting paid is difficult enough. Cut out $10 a shoot of expenses and it just helps me stay profitable.
