I have a midi studio and was looking for a small pad controller. I had an Akai MPD 18 that I hated. You had to hit the pads so hard, your fingers would hurt. I found the Korg Nano Pad2 and I love it. Has everything you need for a 2 input audio interface (2x mono or 1x stereo). Comes with added bonus of usb at the back to power my midi controller. Separate monitor and headphone volume and drives my hd6xx just fine. Instantly recognized by DAWs on both my mac and pc, no problems with aggregate devices with mac audio or asio4all. Feels solid and looks great. Minor issues are that the bundled cable is quite short. Recommend as a budget / starter interface as long as you are ok with 1x stereo or 2x mono input. I have a larger interface but it's not portable so I bring this along with my midi controller and macbook in my backpack when I need to move around, very convenient. 5 |

I use it for school, and at home for when I am using programs such as Pro Tools, Logic Audio, FL Studio. The Sennheiser HD 280's are comfortable, not heavy, great for mixing, and highly recommended for musical work. 5 |
