Fl Studio Record Midi Input Port

This enabled me to use the input on my laptop to run the Midi Keyboard that I was trying to use.

Has everything you need for a 2 input audio interface (2x mono or 1x stereo). Comes with added bonus of usb at the back to power my midi controller. Separate monitor and headphone volume and drives my hd6xx just fine. Instantly recognized by DAWs on both my mac and pc, no problems with aggregate devices with mac audio or asio4all. Feels solid and looks great. Minor issues are that the bundled cable is quite short. Recommend as a budget / starter interface as long as you are ok with 1x stereo or 2x mono input. I have a larger interface but it's not portable so I bring this along with my midi controller and macbook in my backpack when I need to move around, very convenient.

I bought this tape to label controls on MIDI controllers and I/O's on my audio interface. It keeps everything organized so when someone other than my self is looking an input or output they can find it easily. The tape is bright enough that if something is written on it it can be read in dim lighting. It's also strong enough to hold something down or secure something in a position so it doesn't fall.

FL Studio is straightforward to use. I love the features and how quickly I can put down a musical thought.

This thing works flawlessly for me! USb3 enables lightning fast latency, you can fill this thing up and run midi with solid timing, everything gets their own entire midi port. Plus I have room for other people to join or expand in the future. The USB hub on the back seemed like a silly addition to me at first, but having it I've realized how useful it is, I've got a few other rack items that I wasn't utilizing the USB control features on due to wire distance. In my setup, this ESI interface solved that as well. In your DAW, you select your input and output midi port and channel, and its as if you crawled behind everything and repatched the cables directly between devices. Every port can be In or Out. No wasted ports for midi devices that only need 1 way communication. This is probably one of the best features, as almost nobody utilizes an even number of ins/outs I can't recommend this enough.

I have only two inputs left on my audio interface for keyboards. I have two keyboards. This little beauty lets me play and record either. The real beauty comes from switching to A for my sweetening keyboard while using keyboard B as the MIDI master. That way I can record the audio from my sweetening keyboard with the Sescom switch set to A at the same time as recording several MIDI sound modules that are outputting the sounds from they synths my B (MIDI master) keyboard is playing through. By recording the MIDI, I can go back and run this MIDI recording into keyboard B to record its sound (that had to be left out due to the switch being in the A position for the initial recording. Simply marvelous! This little switch has made a HUGE difference.

I use my H2n to record sounds which I then convert to midi samples on my computer. The sound quality is excellent, and the H2n gives me plenty of recording format options (WAV, MP3, 48kHz, 44kHz, etc.), and it is very user-friendly. Easy to download to computer. I would definitely recommend this product.

When I bought it, I had Windows 8.1, no issues at all.All 16 channels plus MIDI work beautifully.I love that I can record 16 channels simultaneously.If you want to record stereo, as someone else suggested in their review, just assign 2 channels to the stereo track - perfect!I now have Windows 10 installed and it works better than ever.I am running Pro Tools 11.3.1 on a PC laptop.I can't say enough good about my purchase, you won't find another 16-channel interface near this price, and top quality with rack ears included if needed.
