Tascam is the best in sound recording devices. Thought of trying out their headphones. Sound quality, noise canceling, build quality, length of wire, etc are all good for me and I don't desire more. This is not suitable for users who want to show brands such as Beats or Bose. Please spend $300 more for same stuff. 5 |

i use these for my commute. they are clearly designed for studio recording use, but they have noise isolation, so even when i'm not listening to music, i still don't hear noise on the train. they need a bit of stretching, but are pretty comfortable. a bit heavy for most people, but i like the weight, it makes them feel substantial. the cable stood up to my one year old biting it, very strong. and while its not necessary for music enjoyment, the mono/stereo switch is fun to play with and gives you an appreciation of what goes into making a track. 5 |

I have a home recording studio and there is a synth (Korg 01/WFD from the 1990’s) that always gives me a slight hum noise. The humming is faintly low but enough to bother me, especially if I’m recording; for example, if I’m just playing the piano nice and mellow, instead of an entire sequencer with multi tracks in a song, I can still hear that hum. I have a small Mackie mixer, nothing fancy, but it’s very sonically clean as far as audio output. Connecting the XIT-600 in the mixer’s XLR output solved that annoyance on that particular scenario and now that hum background noise is gone and took care of 1 channel. I only have one of these. Now I need to get a second XIT-600 as I record in Stereo. I also recorded / tested the output audio from my mixer to a Tascam DR100 MKII and a professional field recorder such as the Sound Devices Mix Pre-6, which is an unit that is utilized by many boom operators to record audio in many movies. If you deal with more pronounced hum or ground looping issues, since I can’t reproduce that kind of nightmare in my studio, I can’t comment on that. Like I said, for reasonable, typical humming issues, the XIT-600 will do just fine. But loud humming, bad cables or what have you, it could be anything causing that hum. If the XIT-600 doesn't solve the problem, you might have to get something bigger and more expensive perhaps. This one worked for my needs. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]. 5 |

We use these for patching and for vocal studio mics, anywhere where we don't want to introduce noise into a mix in the studio. We also use them in patching for our live recording rig. Where we don't use them is the Live stage. Even with the warranty and their great durability, they are too expensive to be torn up. 5 |

Shopped around a lot to find inexpensive noise cancelling headphones for the recording studio in our youth center. The youth are rough on them and we generally go through them fast. Youth don't seem to know the difference between these and the more expensive ones we bought previously. Plus these have proven to be quite durable. Great bang for the buck. Didn't have to compromise. 5 |

I had seen many reviews of Mogami cables and decided to try them for a new home studio vocal recording setup. I was using an ultra-low noise Mic and Interface and this cable (10') from Mic to the interface added no perceptible noise to my already low noise floor. Great product, well made! 5 |

This is a dedicated studio recording mic cable and is perfectly suited for that task, rejecting noise and interference and transmitting clear, unaffected sound. PROS: durable, attractive, solid locking connectors. CONS: a cable tie would be nice, but there is nothing wrong with the cable itself. 5 |

Sound recording improved at least 60%. Less background noise. Worth the price. 5 |
