I purchased this for my wife so that she could carry her large iPhoto library between her two computers. When it arrived, I copied her photo library to the drive. I thought an error had occurred when it finished becaused it finished so fast. Then I tested the flash drive. With larger files, I was seeing read speeds of 25-28MB/s (that's BYTES) per second and write speeds of 15-20MB/s. I currently own about 8 different USB 2.0 flash drives in sizes from 8GB to 64GB. None are even close to this fast. Hope it lasts because it's a great flash drive. It would also make a decent bootable backup drive or emergency drive. The only drawback is the slider piece of plastic that slides over the USB male connector. First, it doesn't completely cover the connector meaning that lint and fuzz can get inside. The bigger problem is that it's hard to move the slider. 5 |

Nano USB flash drives can be a real chore to remove, especially from recessed ports -- the smallness that helps keep them from being caught on something can also make them difficult to get a hold of. This PNY flash drive contains a very useful hole perfect for a lanyard, keychain, etc. Performance-wise, the PNY flash drive tested fine on my old hardware's add-on USB 3.0 ports. Machine is running Win 10 and old HD Tach (see photo). Interestingly, HD Tach froze up trying to test another 64GB flash drive, so the PNY is doing something correctly the other did not. Overall, the flash drive seems well-made, with a metal connector, not plastic. No winking LED. The connector cap is snug enough that it should keep from falling off. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

Just the right size, so it is small, but not so small as to easily get lost like the tiny thumb drives that hardly have anything to grab onto when they are plugged in, and are so easily misplaced or lost on a busy desk due to being too tiny. Best yet, it has a USB-C connector on one side, and swivels to a USB-A connector on the other end. Makes it easy to transfer data, pictures, or videos quickly from PC's, laptops, MacBooks or iPads with a USB-C port, to other USB-C devices, or also to other devices without a USB-C port. I love both the small, but decent size of the drive, and the capability to use it for either or both USB-C and USB-A ports. 32 GB is also a decent memory size, for backing things up, storage or transferring files. I have both PC's, MacBook Air (2) and three iPads. I just had to reinstall Windows after a crash, and used this drive to do a recovery drive for the PC. Now, if my PC crashes again, I can recover it easily, with this as my recovery drive. I highly recommend this drive. 5 |

I had an old 3.5 WD external hard drive that only had a USB 2.0 connector. I bought the Sabrent enclosure so I could use USB 3.0 instead. Once I removed the hard drive it was easy to install it in this new enclosure. You need to pay attention to the instructions and angle the drive to properly seat it into the SATA connector. I haven't tried removing it, but I don't need to. This enclosure uses a power plug. It's not bus powered. I do like that there's an on/off switch. Overall, what else can I say? It's a simple solution that works. I'll definitely be buying more of these. 5 |

works as usual for USB thumb drive but having both kinds of USB connector is GENIUS and allows me to connect with just about anything, including Apple devices! 5 |
