I purchased this flash head so that I can shoot HS. I also purchased the Skyport Transmitter Plus HS to use with this light. It's a great light. I love the speed. I was able to shoot at 1/4000s in full Texas sun. I love the results!

HS Flash heads are a perfect add to my lighting system. Love the results I get from this light.

I have Elinchrom Quadra's which replaced my heavy old Ranger RX AS. I use the Skyport Plus HS with the Quadra's but recently had a shoot where I needed more power. That required my old Ranger RX AS units. The solution to firing them with my Skyport Plus HS was simply attaching this to an old Canon speed light and placing it by the Ranger RX AS. The built in slave on the RX read the flash. I put the Canon flash on manual at 1/128 so it didn't interfere with my shoot. Easy, reliable.

Scary spending so much money. I photograph HS and JR High cheerleaders in low light, horrible gyms and on the football field. I'm still learning what this camera can do, but so far it is performing well. I'm getting MUCH better photo's than I did with the 5D! I can't wait to keep exploring.

I was aware of its limitations in low light performance and bought this camera mainly to see if its longer zoom can beat my 525-mm equivalent telephoto lens on my mirrorless camera because I don't want to carry a significantly bigger and heavier lens for wildlife photography. The resolution of the fine JPG images straight out of the PowerShot SX70 HS at max focus length is comparable with cropped images from my 525mm lens. Luckily, I found a good denoise software and have been able to get clean and notably higher resolution images out of the raw images from the SX70 HS. Its image stabilization for video is also good. For its compact size, weight and price, I am happy with this purchase

I purchased this kit as an upgrade from two speed lights triggered with pocket wizards punching through a Chimera Octa 2 Collapsible Beauty Dish (24). It's great to be able to buy a Elinchrom speed ring, and continue to use this awesome Chimera. The ELB 1200 HS set up outclasses my speed light rig in every possible category when shooting above sync speeds.  No longer am I restrained by agonizing reliability issues of having speed lights, radio triggers, Bolt external battery, and camera bodies all get along together, only to work around long recycle times, limited punch, and slow relighting due to an overly complicated rig. It's so nice to now be liberated by not having to use that cumbersome, janky speed light rig. I'm also happy with using the HS heads while shooting in normal sync speeds as well, as I enjoy the motion blur that comes with the long flash duration of the HS head. I feel that it communicates the dynamism of the subject's action. If your story requires freezing the action, purchase an additional Action head. So, would I buy it again? I actually want three more of these kits, and an additional action head for each...and a bunch of big beautiful modifiers to put them in. It's high quality pro equipment.

I'm not going to lie, getting the code was a chore. That said, the game is a 5/5.

I use the product on my job as coce enforcment officer to light up the dark areas I have to visit looking for code violations. I did not want to haul a bulky heavy flashlight aroundso I decided a small one would get the job done. Well it does that and more. The powerful 104 lumen light brightens up the darkest areas so that I can see everything in the location I am checking. The long burn life of the batteries is also expense saving. Overall it is my new trusted companion in the dark and it is always within my reach.

Which I'm ecstatic and excited about and would have paid full price and a heartbeat the overall easyness hands-free long lasting sheer brightness of this light. Has taken me and allowed me to go one step further protecting my family and my dogs. As not too long after I received this product and begin to use it. My dogs outside begin to park outside in a frantic manner. As I grab this headlamp and my coyote hole puncher. I was able to go hands-free and protect my dogs. I would highly recommend this product to anybody and everybody and will be purchasing another one very soon
