Flash Light While Ringing

While the Leica Q2 Monochrome is a BEAST in low light conditions I found a desire to have a little fill light in some instances. I have never been much a fan of flash and it's sometimes overpowering effects to an image and the people I shoot. I love getting random portraits of strangers and the dim light this unit throws when turned down lets people know I'm going to grab a shot of them. It becomes clearly evident if they don't want their picture taken and can result in less confrontations as well as not blinding them with a flash even when set at a low output. It's all I could ask for and a little more!

I had no idea that this dual bracket existed until I went to take pictures at a press conference up in the Bronx, NY where some people died in that deadly fire from the usage of a space heater in early January 2022. While there, I saw another photographer with this dual bracket on his camera. I immediately asked him what it was and the told me that it was a dual bracket (he had one for his Nikon camera that he was presently using) that I could purchase from B&H for less than $20. While talking to this fellow photographer, I asked him could I take a picture of the devise and he let me do it. As soon as I got home, I went to your B&H website to find this item which I found with ease. I printed out the dual bracket sheet from your website and within a week I was at B&H purchasing the item. I didn't just purchase one, but I purchased 4 of them for my Canon cameras because I wanted to have one of these dual brackets in each of my camera backpacks. When I used this dual bracket, I was very pleased with how easy it was to use. I placed a flash on one of the hot shoe attachments while placing a video light in the other hot shoe attachment. I thought that it would weigh down my camera with these two lights attached to the the bracket but it didn't. It's a very light bracket that can fit in any of my camera backpacks or bags easily without taking up much space. I purchased these brackets because there are times which make it difficult for me to use a Strobroframe flash bracket such as a party full of people within a small room because of limited space. So instead of using a larger flash bracket, I can easily attach this Vello dual bracket on top of my camera with both a flash and video light attached so I can get around a room to photograph the guests and activities at a party or any other social gathering. And the price of this item wasn't bad at all.

While I find the round and large square diffusers to be more effective for general softening and wrapping light, all do a good job at what the are intended to do. I do find that they slip off the flash head eventually, but that seems to be an issued with all modifiers that are not custom manufactured for a specific flash head. I will continue using them and time on on location and cannot bring off-camera light.

While this flash unit looks almost like a toy, it does a great job. Nothing fancy, but it is great in those situations in which you need a little more light on your subject. The size is a nice feature. It is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, so it is easy to carry along on a photo expedition. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

While I love Sony products, this flash was less than half the price of the comparable Sony Flash. Fits easily on my Sony a7III and works great.

I’m running this on my SCAR 17S and have zero issues at 550 yards ringing 9x12 steel. Only reason I can’t say further distance is because I couldn’t get out any further. It’s a solid Optic with a superb eye relief and a great reticle.

Wanted an upgraded experience while working remotely with MS Teams and this headset is it. The fit is very comfortable, I wear glasses and find the headset perfect without any aches or rubbing. The buttons seem well placed though I tend to use the keyboard controls. Setup was trivial. The in ear notifications and chirps nicely keep you informed, from the battery life to what device is ringing. It reports 6 hours battery life at the start of each day and I generally make it through. The docking station is a nice touch. The biggest boon is the multi-device support. I have two phones and two laptops synced through Bluetooth and it seamlessly migrates between them. It lets you know when you walk out of range, and connects automatically when back again - for each device. While being on a Teams call it will inform if my phone starts ringing and I can chose whether to accept or ignore it. There was a snafu moment when it failed to (re)connect to my laptop for some unknown reason. A power off/on and I was back on my call again within half a minute, it is very quick to connect. Did a lot of research before buying, and it was between Plantronics Voyager 5200 UC and the Sennheiser PRESENCE. For me, the Voyager works perfectly.

I've been using this planner for more than half a year now, which is a ringing endorsement in itself; I'm usually the kind of person who buys a planner with good intentions and abandons it a few weeks later. I'm not actually sure what makes the Nomatic planner different--it might be the layout, the balance between structure and customization, or the sturdy, attractive design. There are also little features throughout, like the elastics and the calendar in the back pocket, that make this planner even more functional and pleasant to use. Well worth the money. This will be the first planner that I actually fill up, and I'm already looking forward to buying another one for next year.

Purchased over half year. Took flight to Asia twice and the noise cancellation works exceptionally good and I cannot go air travel without it. A 16 hr flight with noise cancelling, music, movie and there will be at least 40% battery left on the head phone, it can handle any flight. The touch control is very easy to understand. The music quality is very good and best of all is the Type-C quick charge. I am using it everyday in office since I hate the HVAC noise and is perfect for that. This one can suppress some regular talkin and which is incredible as an headphone. There is a time that the fire alarm was ringing during office hour and I was turning on noise canceling with 80% loudness, and yes I almost dont know it was ringing which tbh is very incredible.

During the day, I work in a cubical surrounded by other cubicals. With these headphones on, the only way I know my phone is ringing is because it has a red flashing light. Needless to say, these are GREAT at blocking out ambient noise. The sound reproduction is accurate and the sound stage is good - especially considering the price. The bass does not hit as hard as some of the semi-closed headphones, but it is responsive. These headphones are durable and comfortable. I can wear them for hours when I'm editing video. All in all, if you are on a budget but want great sounding headphones, I would recommend these.
