Flash Of Light Meaning
nytennisaddict | 2024-05-11 09:52:51 |
i had cheap filter on before... on the cheap one i can see my reflection. On this, i can't see my reflection at all (meaning more light passing through vs being reflected). 5 |

Bought this because I needed a little bit more to get free shipping on an order, and I had been meaning to get another flash drive anyway so it worked out. Works well and files copy to it quickly. 5 |

Handy little light to have around. I keep meaning to put it on my keychain, but it’s so handy in the house it never leaves the counter! 5 |

I read a few users complaining about the light not telling you how far you are in the charging process like the Canon one does... I might be a simply man, but red light meaning it's charging and green light meaning done is all I care about. It charges fine, and you get a car adapter as well. I would have paid twice the price and would still have been happy with it. 5 |

lots of space and it's small meaning you can take it with you everywhere. 5 |

I've been meaning to buy this for at least a year now, however the price in Australia is just too expensive. Luckily I was at B&H while traveling through to the Eddie Adams Workshop (2010) where I just couldn't say no. Absolute highlight was while on Assignment at Eddie Adams, Al Bello (Getty sports photographer) held the sunbounce and within seconds said in his New York accent *I've got to buy one of these!* I'd like to think I influenced one of the best sports photographers in the world to make the purchase but really it's the gorgeous light it reflects. Absolutely stunning, everyone should own one, and it's small & light enough that airlines won't blink an eye at having it in the cabin. 5 |

I've been meaning to purchase C-Stands for a couple years now (used them in college) and having received them, I wish I hadn't put it off for so long. These are awesome for light stands and heavy enough to hold a reasonably weighted light and softbox out on the boom arm, even without a sandbag. I also hear these are great to hold 4-foot seamless backdrops, which I will be trying out soon. I know these will last me a long time, if not a lifetime. 3 The legs on mine are very tight and difficult to swing out, probably something I could loosen up. But I expect this will fade with time and use. 5 |

Nikon does not make the least expensive POL (polarizing) filter, but they make probably the best one. Why: Several reasons: 1. Their filters are wider on the front than the rear, meaning you won't get vignetting with wide angle lenses. 2. They have a clever design that makes it easier to install, remove, and use than any other manufacturer. 3. They are coated. Because the POL filter material is plastic (it cannot be made in glass), all POL filters consist of two pieces of glass with the POL material sandwiched in-between. This means that to coat a POL filter, you have to coat four sides, instead of the usual two. 4. They are amongst the most neutral in-color POL filters made. Many POL filters seem to have a cool cast to them. 5. Many say they are more efficient, meaning they let more light pass than most POL filters. All POL filters block more than one stop of light, and sometimes as much as two stops. In my experience, Nikon POL filters typically absorb less light than then other brands. 6. Unlike some brands, NIkon POL filters hold the glass in by a circular ring. This stresses the glass less than using a threaded ring. What more do you need to say. 5 |
