USB 3.0, included USB hub, external powering and complete flexibility for your ports to be in or out, what else could you want? And now they include rack mount ears in a clever arrangement. Finally the best part - make sure to install their custom driver and don't use the default Windows one. That way you get interface multi-client, meaning the driver does not get locked to one client (so you can run multiple applications off the interface at once). Otherwise avoid the MOTU interfaces. I had to junk a MIDI Express XT because their driver (from 2013!) refuses to let a Windows computer sleep. They verified the issue, but yet at the time of this review, many months later, they neglect to fix it. So I had to buy a new interface, but this one is better anyhow. 5 |

I plugged this into a new PC with USB 3.0 ports. Plugged in a monitor and no display (no auto driver installation). I Googled rocstor usb to hdmi driver, found Rocstor's product web page and found the link to the driver. Installed the driver and, easy-peasy, the display came to life. I saw no embedded USB drive on my device. Works fine so far. 5 |

I can't really comment on the longevity but it works well in my voyager driver. I created two partitions to back up my children's Macmini--once as a sparse partition and the other as a disk image using Carbon Copy Cloner and both work well. I've only had it for less than a month though, but I've never had any issues with Barracuda Seagate drives. 5 |
