Flashes Of Light In My Right Eye

GOT IT RIGHT.. VERY sturdy build/fit, ez to control with beautiful color display, NO HORRIBLE BUTTONS TO PRESS TO ORIENT FLASH HEAD!! �:), �and works off cam with cable or air1 wireless remote [will work with other nissin rf flashes]. OUTSTANDING SUPPORT with a phone call. not ideal for long-lens pop-out cams [fz-2500] because of low profile, but with tilt and soft-box [included] can work around this. BUILT IN NOSE LIGHT that's just right for interviews, and wide angle pullout and catch-light pullout, its a complete package. i will likely switch to all nissin flashes later in 2018 for my canon 40d, 70d & 30d. seems just right and priced right as well.

This bag carries a lot of gear. Right now I have two 9 1/2 foot stands, two flashes, 4 umbrellas, a parabox, and several bags of miscellaneous gear in the case. It isn't full yet. It is heavy, as it is durable. note I have only had the case for a couple of weeks, so it hasn't seen a lot of transportation use, but the construction seems solid.

The main thing that it's Godox and it works with other Godox flashes. My studio is quite small and the power 150 is enough. Bought it as the price was very good and I also make some video, so it's convenient. Everything works well. The quality of the light is nice. I had sl150 before - that light wasn't so clean. This one is excellent.

My review won't give you information you couldn't find in others, but I still feel the need to share my excitement. All the tech stuff has been explained by others, and better than I could. Important points I'd like to repeat are the super close focussing distance and the amazing light gathering capabilities, especially in low light. But what really makes this an astonishing piece of equipment can't be put into words. I used to think of photography as a purely technical form of expression, believing that whatever artistic elements a photo can have come from the photographer's talent and eye. But the truth is: this lens is an art tool. I'm not trying to sound too esoteric here, but it's almost as if it had taste! The color rendering is so rich and satisfying. Contrast is exactly how it should be. The results have a natural clarity and authority. Working with shallow depth of field yields results that are pleasant to the eye and have a rich dimensionality. The focal length would not be a natural first choice for me, I'm more at ease with the 35mm, 56mm and 90mm, all of which I like a lot. But out of all the lenses, this is the one that sees the way I'd like to look at the world most.

My old flash trigger died and this one is much easier to tell if it is off and has many more options to use with different flashes.

I purchased the Eye hood because of Sunlight glare and other light distractions. I am and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to attach and I was able to immediately see the benefits. The eye piece closes around the eye and helps you to focus on your subject. I would recommend it Highly. As for Con's: I don't have any.

Excellent solution to having enough light when using external flashes

My headline says it all..beautifully made, classic Really Right Stuff quality in every detail. Expensive - will stand the test of time like all of my RRS products. Buy it once and be done with it or by the same thing several times and waste your time, patience, and resources.
