A few things that many other camera brands could take note on. The eye gasket is round, like my eye so the benefit here is light doesn't creep in, which happens especially on all the Sony cameras and in some part the Nikon Z too. The rear illuminated buttons are a boom, as is night mode which the LCD and or EVF becomes easy to read as night without throwing light all over the place. I'm thankful for the top LCD just like the Nikon is super helpful and shows how many images you have left on the memory card and how much battery life you have left. How handy yet super simple. The button layout is excellent and coming from a99II the transition was easy. The AF after the software update is fast and snappy in almost every light condition, and pleased with the IQ of the glass I've attached to is so far. The grip is superb and unlike the Sony e-mount I can actually grip the body with authority in wet conditions. The weather proofing feels solid and well thought out giving me confidence this camera will hold out in extreme conditions.

Keeps the light out of the viewfinder with a tight fit to the eye area. I am left eye dominant, this eye cup rotates for either left or right eye use.

Works well, easy to swivel for right eye or left eye use. It is comfortable.

As a left eye dominant shooter, this eyecup really helps make shooting more comfortable.

Does a great job blocking the sun on my Z9. Can be shifter left or right depending on the eye used for viewing. Minor challenge when packing equipment for travel if you leave the eyecup on.

This eyecup is reasonably priced and works well. Rotates for left or right eye use. Most helpful for video in bright sunlight.

I received this monocular as a Christmas gift, I am blind in my left eye, so buying binoculars was spending double for what I needed. I am now at the beach in Florida and have used the monocular a great deal. I am surprised, and pleased, at the brightness and clarity of this monocular. There is a little color variation at the periphery of the image, but not enough to be detrimental. While researching monoculars, I found this one at B&H. I knew of Vortex, but had never purchased one of their products. I checked out their warranty and was blown away! Their products carry a lifetime warranty no questions asked. You shoot it; they will fix it. I really like this product and highly recommended it!

I have a Nikon eye cup for my D700, but I still use my D90 for certain applications. This eyecup works great. I'm left-eyed so the ability to flip it for either eye is a big plus. Overall pretty comfortable.

Heavy duty, quality fit and finish, attention to detail and options for quick release and handle mount are sweet. This works awesome with the front shutter closed for right eye and superimposes onto the image of my dominant left eye. (I'm a right handed shooter with a dominant left eye and a tendancy to cross so I cant look through the glass with both eyes open or I get double vision.) SO FREAKING COOL!
