flashing lights indicate charge level roughly. 5 |

Does its job. I like how the flashing of the lights lets you know where you are in the charge cycle. 5 |
Bitter Jester | 2024-07-09 01:28:31 |
Works great. The flashing lights are an easy way to see how the charge is progressing. 5 |

Router is simple and faster than my previous D-link at 150mbps.I like that I don't have to see all the flashing lights. 5 |

I keep the Poly-Steel 700 in my truck because of the fact it has the red flashing light on it. If I would have trouble I can just turn it on and stick it to the truck since it also has a magnet. It has the zoom on the front end and all the lights are bright. I have several Coast lights and all of them are high quality and well designed. I will always be a Coast customer. The warranty and customer service is second to none. 5 |

Works as advertised! Portable, flashing lights with a high squeal! Just pull out the pin if one has to do small piece of mind! Better to have it than not! Safety with it! 5 |

Nice heavy flashlight with some nice features, the magnet on the end, the side lights, the red flashing lights. I keep one in my car and one by my desk! 5 |

I own or have owned every light known to man. (ok, slight exaggeration). I currently have the Gemini Soft, Gemini Hard. and Kino Freestyle LEDs of a variety of sizes. Never mind Apurtures and Nanlites plus a few of them lightweight flexible led panels. But when I need a fast and simple setup, I always got back to these Astra Softs. And when I look at the image, I wonder why I went and bought all those other expensive fixtures. Just today I shot a multicamera interview for ABC's new show Impact with the U.S Attorney investigating the Matthew Perry case and because going thru security was so complicated and time was of essence, I chose to bring these lights instead. I loved the picture to much I wondered to myself why I keep buying these way more expensive fancy lights. And the beauty of these is that I can fly them with a micro 150 battery and because I rarely have to turn them up all the way, they will last the length of some of these long interviews no problem. I did notice on this thread some folks complaining about these lights failing them, and have heard similar complaints from other Astras too. I have never had any issues with these or my other Astras, but that's likely because I read the instructions that clearly state you should dim the lights all the way down before you turn them on, wait until the flashing green light stops flashing, and then dim up at your heart's desire. And always before I turn them off, I dim them down all the way, as not to forget. That might be the secret. I see people using them wrong all over the place. 5 |

The Watson Three-Tap Power Extension Cord can handle loads up to 15A of current, and a load of up to 300V and 4,500W. I don't see what you can't plug in here. This thing will handle pretty much anything you have on Set. Even HMI lights...No problem. But don't exceed the maximum load found printed at the label, attached to the cord. I love that extra thick 12 Gauge and the fact that it is black. That should be same thing as the yellow coded extension cords, which, yellow = 12 Gauge, but I like the BLACk! It it easier to make it disappear on Set rather than the yellow ugly cords. I'm plugging in TWO Godox M600D and ONE M600Bi LED lights on this extension cord when I go on location. Such load, It doesn't even make tickles and cord remain cool. When approaching 3,000 watts, expect it to get just a tad warm as it is normal. The longer the cord, the warmer it can get as it makes electrons travel more. 25 feet to me is the ideal thing. This cord is also excellent for large window air conditioners, electric lawn mowers and Halogen film lighting fixtures such as an ARRI T2 or HMI lights, again, UP TO 300v, 15 Amps, 4,500 watts total. Very happy with this item. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

I was impressed how much the red tones have increase in saturation with the filter. It's nice to have it done in-camera rather than in Lightroom/Photoshop as it saves time in editing. From foliage to cars and almost anything in red, it will definitely make it stand out! Besides the usual red enhancing color, I'm sure why we all came here for and that reason is for Astrophotography. This supposedly reduces the yellow/hazy light pollution from suburban lights at night as it cuts down the yellow/amber wavelength of sodium lights emitting at night. Of course, the best way to see the difference is to still seek a dark place first and then the filter will cut down any ambient distant light pollution with ease. As a bonus, it helps with the rendition of stars and other objects that may seem different without the filter. So far it's been good and also remember that the filter takes about a stop or two so adjust your exposure accordingly. 5 |
