The DigitaLIZA is, for me, so quick to set up and easy to use. And I get better results than with my flatbed scanner. 5 |

I love how fast this scanner works, so much better than a flatbed. It's very easy to hook up and use. 5 |

Awesome printer, but I wish the flatbed scanner was functional, sublimation prints have come out fantastic so far. 5 |

I have had two other scanners in the past but the Epson Perfection V850 is probably the best professional flatbed scanner by far and along with ICE software that comes with it. 5 |

Cable was purchased to connect flatbed scanner to desktop Apple computer. Cable was very inexpensively priced and works perfectly. 5 |

I was looking to replace an older flatbed scanner and after reading many reviews settled on the ScanSnap iX1600. I am very pleased with it. Super fast duplex scan rate, color scanning, and can even scan via wifi. I highly recommend this scanner. 5 |

This is the second Epson flatbed scanner I've purchased over the years. I had some technical issues with the first model and upgraded to the V600 and have been using it with great success for the past three years. My latest and most ambitious project was the digitalizing of my entire photo collections to include thousands of prints, slides, and negatives. This daunting task (still ongoing) was accomplished rather routinely once becoming familiar with the accompanying software. The work was tedious and slow, but the results were acceptable for my needs. However, if I was to do it again, I would seriously consider using equipment specialized for slides/negatives as the flimsy V600 attachment for these formats can be problematic at times. Flat documents such as prints, charts, letters, receipts, etc. were quickly scanned with great success. 5 |

This is a great scanner, but there are better, and there are many variables to consider. However, I'd say this is by far the best flatbed scanner on the market! That is a big deal in its own right. I scan 35mm and 4x5 film...mostly 35mm. Shy of a Hasselblad Flextight, for $10k plus, or a second hand Nikon 5000ED for $+or-, the Epson performs quite well! The film holders are an improvement from previous models, but they are still a little clumsy. They are sturdy, however, and you get a double set in the box. The 35mm holders can take up to 18 frames though, and that's super convenient. All in all I'd buy this scanner again. Start up time is super quick, it's quiet and produces quality results! 5 |

I have used this flatbed scanner for 3 years. I use it to scan and archive photos. I am working on a family tree, and am slowly scanning old family photos / portraits to give to my children. **Epson has available new software for the Mac "Catalina" operating system.** I downloaded it to my MacBook, and the scanner continues to work perfectly. 5 |

I expected this unit to be heavy but it's really not. Very manageable and fits well on a small table by my desk. Instructions are very clear and made set up a breeze. I thought I might have to put this unit together or at least attach a few things here and there. Nope, it's boxed and ready to go. The printer connects to your WiFi so you can print pictures and/or documents right from your phone, tablet, and laptop. You don't even have to be in the same room as the printer to print, which is GREAT! The flatbed scanner is great. Nothing spectacular, just your basic flatbed scanner. This is a "cartridge free" printer. Refilling the ink is super easy! You just pour the bottle of ink into the inkwell. The great feature about this is you can see how much ink you have in the inkwell. No reason to EVER run out of ink during a big project. Also, compared to the ink cartridges I've purchased in the past, the bottles of ink are very affordable in comparison. SPEED - It prints much faster than I expected! It prints up to 20 pages within a minute. Also, I've noticed it holds most of a ream of paper. It seems to hold 250 pages in the paper tray. Quality of the print is great. It's dry and does not smudge once printed. Looks crisp, bold, and as you would expect. “This is a review for the Epson EcoTank M-2170 Monochrome All-in-One Supertank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” 5 |
