Flight Game Controllers

I reviewed several controllers for the game; looking for ease of use and assigning buttons to flight controls. In addition, I didn't want to break the bank. What a surprise! Hotas 4 was automatically accepted by the Sim with almost all buttons assigned, ready to fly! With a tweak after visiting the Thrustmaster site for updates, I was up flying in a few minutes.

This is being used for my disabled son to hold game controllers.

I have both Thrustmaster and Logitech flight controllers. The Hotas X-52 with separate throttle Is a perfect setup for the new MS Flight Sim and other flight sim programs. Watch it's use by certified pilots on U-tube who use this model. Happy flying..!

The entire system is better than I expected. The interactivity of the controllers and the design of the games is amazing and every new game I play has something new. Amazing.

The Watson 4-bay charger and AA battery kit come with everything you need to game all day. I primarily use these in my xbox x controllers. Over the past month I've been using these instead of the normal sams club batteries that we usually buy. My kids usually go through a set of double A's a month in the controllers. We are a little over a month and I haven't had to replace them yet so that's a pretty good sign. The charger has a bunch of safety features inside like the ability to independently distribute power to each battery based on the type and capacity which prevents overheating and over charging of the batteries. The charger is small enough that I can drop it into a backpack with no problem if needed. These are a great replacement for the single use batteries that I was previously using. This is the new standard for game controllers. Great feel in your hands, very lightweight, and super responsive. The headphone jack at the bottom is great, plug in your favorite headphones and you are all good to go. Also works via Bluetooth on a computer so it's very versatile.

This is a must have for flight sims, I use it exclusively for DCS and my warbird game has improved dramatically. Having Toe brakes is essential for taxiing and for F-14 carrier ops. They're super comfortable and I rest my feet on them even when I'm just messing around on my pc. It seems outrageous to spend this kinda money on something that is supplemented with twist sticks for beginner but I can assure you your ability and immersion will improve with this set up.

I wanted to play a newer flight game on my pc and my older joystick was not recognized by Windows 11 after research I purchased this one all good here I'm now flying the skies again. I was playing Flight Simulator 2020 with a controller and then I bought the Warthog. It's almost like playing a different game now. The planes felt more erratic with the controller, but now the plane feels a lot more stable.
