It’s great to be hands free when I drive and be able to see my phone’s GPS. 5 |

I use it to charge my phone and gps - I love that there is a ridge to grab to easily remove. 5 |

It was so easy to install. I love that I can sit anywhere and it’s long enough for me or my kids to flip the tv in any direction. Definitely buying another one for my room. 5 |

I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago. I hate using my phone as a GPS on trips and I had an older Garmin that I broke the port on so I couldn't update the maps anymore. I'm really impressed with the unit and would recommend it without hesitation. The only thing I didn't like compared to my old Garmin...is that my old Garmin was a beefier material and seemed a little more heavy duty. That said...if you take care of it properly....that shouldn't be an issue at all. 5 |

Good features and portable to take in vehicles without GPS. Better than phone GPS, especially for long trips. Lifetime map updates is a plus. Two recommendations: 1...Get a micro SD card that it can support (max 32 GB) so maps have room to expand into for storage. 2...Set a calendar reminder for connecting your device to your computer occasionally for map and other updates with Garmin Express software (I have mine set to remind every 3 months) 5 |

You won't have to fumble around with your phone while driving anymore. Not just for GPS app, also functional for regular phone use. 5 |

Many times I travel to locations not served by cell towers -- thus my phone is no longer capable of GPS geotagging. Satellite service is still available so this device works flawlessly. The EOS R works very well with GP-E2 with a minor exception - the direction is not recorded in the EXIF (no big deal, all I want is location!) The "Map Utility" may be hard to download since the website does not yet support the very latest versions of Mac OS -- just over-ride the OS version to the previous (supported) version! The GPS log function works as advertised, just be aware that the output is in Google Maps format Lightroom uses the more common GPX format but there are web based converters. With these logs, you might be able to geotag your phone pictures as well in non-Canon software. If you want GPS location info, this is far better than trying to cut from phone images and paste into Canon images. 5 |
