Floor Marking Paint

Great tape for everything from marking the spot on the floor to holding up a light!

We used this for marking our carpeted floor for a robotics event. The tape was easy to use and did not leave a sticky residue like other tapes. I would order wider tape next time. Deb

We recently repainted our aging stage floor with Rosco Tough Prime Black paint and we are very happy with the results. It is a more expensive product, so it was rolled on thinly (but not thinned with water). It still provided an excellent finished look - much better than previous paints. Because it was thinly applied, some old tape lines and blemishes can be seen when looking closely but the overall appearance is great and it definitely remains BLACK under colored stage lights. Since we only used half as much paint as we expected to, we may apply a second coat after we see how well it wears. An excellent product!

It is what it is- A big roll of gaffers tape. If you've never seen it, it's like Duct tape but you can tear it easily and peel it off of surfaces without removing the paint or leaving behind a sticky mess. It also is a nice flat black that wont add any reflections in your photos. I even use it to attach color gels to my flash head. It stays taped onto the flash for years at a time- if I want to remove it, presto it's gone and no goop to ruin an otherwise nice flash. I also use small pieces to cover the Nikon logos on my camera bodies. Comes right off when it's time to upgrade! I did an outdoor shoot for this company that uses Duct tape for various purposes. We used a piece on a concrete sidewalk to mark the spot for our subject to stand on- well the next YEAR we came back to do the same shoot and the Duct tape was still there- it survived a whole Northwest winter! Another time we did a shoot inside a brand new remodeled nightclub. Again the company used Duct tape to hold the floor of our set in place. When we left, the tape pulled the paint right off the floor. We didn't stick around but I'll bet the owner will not be inviting us back! Lesson learned: don't be like this company. Use what I, and the other real pros use: Gaffer tape.

The Paint Pole Adapter did exactly what it promised. I had a paint pole and I was able to comfortably attach a light onto it for a walk and talk scene. The product was more robust and well-made than I expected; it seems like it will last a while.
