Florida State University Recording Studio

We use this lav for education purposes at Morgan State University and it's been a true workhorse. Dare I say, the students can drop them, pack gear on top of them, tug on the cables, and more and they just keep working. We've been using them for almost 5 years now and just ordered a bunch more as additions to our growing department. It's a rarity that one comes up with a short, and it's usually in either the capsule or the mic & cable itself which you can buy independently. Audio quality is superb in noisy situations and in the studio it's crystal clear. Windscreens minimize pops, cracks, ambient and of course modest breezes. The only MINOR downside to these mics are the lack of an internal battery. They do draw on phantom, so not having that battery means whatever we plug them into has to provide the power, but thats never an issue for the systems we use.

The Mississippi State University Libraries have been using this brand of paper for years and our patrons love it. We've also used it to create museum quality displays for the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, our collection of Lincolniana, the Ragtime Museum, and other pop-up exhibits. The prints look great!

I used this for a piano recording, live acoustic concert, and a video I am in the process of making for a University. It catches the lows, mids, and highs perfectly. Best audio recorder for the price out there!

I use this for green screen recording a class at a major university. I have little experience with lighting, but the components are easy to assemble. I did have to go online to get the manual for the Silverbox, but it was east to find. My video editors gave me a thumbs up for the lighting quality.

We tested a bunch of papers for our university studio. This was clearly the top pick. Great hand, not plastic-y, instant dry, de-rolls easily, and it is at a reasonable price point without compromising the final image. No complaints at all. Hahnemuhle has the rep for a reason.

Bought this 3 pack for recording sermons on my church's rackmount solid state recorder. We had super tiny USB drives before which we were using, but they were so small, we lost them all in the matter of a few months. These seem a little harder to use, they are flat, can stick in your wallet, brightly colored to catch your eye when you leave them sitting on the sound board at the end of the night. Can't really comment on the speed, they keep up to a digital recorder with no issues though. Seemed like a great price for what you are getting.
