Flute Laminator For Sheet Corrugated Board

I purchased two of these in order to use a 4' x 8' sheet of rigid insulation board (1 inch thick) as the lower half of a giant clamshell reflector for a makeup shoot. (both photos and video) The forks held the insulation board very firmly and I was able to use a C-stand on each side to easily adjust the height and angle. - Note: the diameter of the prongs is such that you can't use it with low cost 3/16 or 1/4 foam core - you would probably have to go to 1/2 inch foam core which is considerably more expensive. 5 |

Great for a loose 13x19 sheet. Does not have enough room for a matte or mount board. Good clear material. 5 |

I was originally looking at a Dahle trimmer to replace one of my older rotary trimmers, then I saw this. In the course of one week, it has paid for itself already. It is super precise and makes very clean cuts. You can even shave off slivers of material, whether it is paper or corrugated cardboard. I often print many small prints on one large sheet, and I was concerned that since this was a larger size, it would be less accurate on my mini-sized (2'') prints. This trimmer lets me cut all of these small prints quickly and accurately. It could even cut the corrugated cardboard that I use for packing my prints. The edges are square and clean without fuzzing, and with thinner sheets, you can use a feather touch to move the cutting head and get perfect cuts. The hold down bar works exactly as it is supposed to, and you do not need to use extra effort or pressure to hold the sheets down to keep them from moving even when you are using slippery material. I've also used this to cut and finish laminated signs, and it works a treat! The grid lines seem quite durable. 5 |

I was concerned about photos that I had been storing in old corrugated boxes. I now have them stored in 11x14 and 16x20 drop-front storage boxes. They can be easily stacked and each of the 3 tall boxes holds between 20 and 25 matted photos (depending on the thickness of the mats). 5 |

The fliplock feature provides a stable lock. The locking mechanism for the ball head is the corrugated ring and is easy to handle. You have to adjust the width for your camera mount to fit. The instructions could be written clearer. 5 |

One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal. 5 |
