Flycam 3000 Camera Stabilizer Review

This is my first flycam stabilizer and I love it! Works very well and fairly easy to setup

excellent quality vest and arm. It is heavy but very safe to use. I already used the kit with the Flycam 300 camera stabilizer, my blackmagic pocket 4k and my sigma 50-100mm, that is, a kit of about 5 or 6 kilos and it feels smooth and manageable. I am very happy with the purchase

The Flycam stabilizer design is straight forward and easy to use. The only flaw a discovered was the spindle. The package should include different size spindles to allow for using different gimbal designs. Otherwise, it is a great design. I loved it from the first time I used it.

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

This just what I needed to complete my camera work. The handling of this product is superb. I recommend this flycam to those who need to move around with their camera without all that jumping when you walk.

I didn't expect this to work as good as I read about in the other reviews, but for the price, I figured it would be a good investment for an entry level investment. I literally tried to find something wrong with the flycam that would keep me from giving it a 5 star rating, but couldn't find anything. After setting it up and trying it out, it worked as advertised. It kept the camera real steady. The only suggestion I would make, and I hope the company that made the flycam is listening, would also make a tripod head as an accessory so that it can be used back and forth as needed on a tripod with the quick release plate. Even though the flycam quick release plate is compatible with the Manfrotto 501 tripod head, I just don't happen to have a 501 tripod head. That being said, if you have a heavy camera attached to it, your arm will tire out quickly. I overcame that problem by purchasing a flycam vest support and that solved that problem. The flycam appears to be well built and is relatively easy to set up. The many videos on how to set it up on YouTube is a big help also in setting up. For the price, it is well worth it. I recommend it highly.
