Flying With Camera Gear

These cases are what they are, indestructible. I have and use three of them for flying camera gear all over the world and they have never failed me. 5 |

I bought this product to protect my camera gear while flying. My only downer concerning this product was the lack of instruction of how to put it all together and activate the dial for pressure. Once I figured out the best layout for what I needed it was all safely secured for flying. I was confident my camera lenses were protected in spite of the slamming that goes on in aircraft overheads. Later, my son told me Stormcase was all the military used to transport sensitive equiptment! I guess he would know since he is an officer in the US Army! I knew again, I made the right choice! 5 |

I am flying out today for a shoot and have never been more pumped to take my camera gear to another city. This bag has a ton of storage capacity, lovely pockets everywhere, and looks to be made very well. Manfrotto has already earned my trust, but I think this bad will make a super fan out of me. Included in my pack for this trip is -2X sony a7iii, 1X cage, atomos ninja, 35mm film camera, gopro, 2X Rode Lav Kits, DJI Mavic Air 2, 24mm, 35mm, 85mm, 2 Tripod heads, all batteries, chargers. 5 |

I bought this in advance of flying with my gear this summer. Tried it out last week traveling with my hubby and it is great. Easy to roll, very roomy, and great as a shoulder bag. The only con is that it is so roomy that it can get very heavy. Be mindful when packing if you have to carry it for any length of time! 5 |

This case works perfectly to transport my video tripod, monopod, 4 light stands, mic boom pole, and there's still room for more! It's the perfect size for this purpose and works well as a checked bag when flying. I got it without any padding but I lined it with a moving blanket and then rolled up a second one to hold everything snug in the case. Most of that gear isn't very fragile, but I put a couple of things in their own soft padded bags too. Definitely would recommend this, especially if you'll be flying with your gear. I've have another case from this series for a few years and it has held up well so I expect the same with this one. 5 |

I recently had to fly from NY to Orlando, and with 20 years under my belt, it actually was the first time flying with studio gear. So after a lot of research, this bag seemed to be the best fit. It held everything I needed to bring, and weighed in at 50lbs. definitely heavy but well worth it, and protected all my gear. The built in straps really helped, and when I opened it up, nothing was shifted. A definite must for travel. 5 |

This is by far the best photography backpack I've owned out of the 5 I've ever had. I don't actually travel state-to-state flying with this backpack; however, I do use it when I have to travel to studios, local events, and etc. There's PLENTY of space for gear and the durability and level of protection it offers is unmatched. I must admit, sometimes I even throw the bag down roughly and don't pay it any mind, because I know my gear is protected. I like that it has a pocket for water bottles. It seems like a minor thing but makes my life much easier. I'm a pretty petite woman, so its weight is very ideal for the amount of gear I can pack into it. 5 |

I am planning a cruise through the Panama Canal. I will be flying home at the end of the cruise. I have a standard shoulder strap gear bag but at 70 years old I was not looking forward to the no pain no gain theory. I decided I needed a hard case with wheels and a pull handle. I began browsing the hard cases here on B&H and let me tell you there are a bunch of them. I came across the HPRC 2550. What caught my eye was it meets airline overhead bin requirements. It was nice to know I could carry it on a flight. However if I was forced to check it I would feel secure knowing my gear was packed in pre cut foam. I was able to fit my D700 with 35-70 attached, my 80-200, 20mm, 16mm fisheye and 50mm. I even had a little extra left over. 5 |
