Nice compact am fm radio with a big sound. I am a little disappointed in the am reception and discretion of tuning but will order an external antenna if you have one. FM is good reception and drift free. Sound is excellent 5 |

This attractive wood wrapped unit delivers solid mono sound with better FM reception than most decorative tabletop radios. The tuner works beautifully and I enjoy the simplicity of use. This particular Sangean SG-116 model has an expensive looking aluminum face unlike the cheaper looking cream plastic and rose-gold faced units available elsewhere. I'm very happy with it; it looks great and is a solid buy in this price range. 5 |

Great for TV and other inputs and speakers in a smaller room. FM reception is somewhat limited if you live in a rural area some distance from the source. You cannot manually dial in a station number only seek and scan for signal. 5 |
