I'm sure it's not for everybody because it lacks some basic features that a lot of other radios have like an on/off switch or one touch access to favorite stations. But I needed to replace a radio that could not pick up a stereo signal in the room where I was using it and it also couldn't take up much space. The Rolls has no problem reproducing a perfect stereo signal that is strong and quiet. And the unit is also extremely compact. I figured that a very basic and straight forward design built by a company in the U.S.A. that makes equipment primarily for professional use would be of excellent quality and I was right. It's an FM tuner that doesn't do anything else and it's solid and simple. I plugged into it's own small power strip so now it has an on/ off switch and since I only listen to a couple of FM stations at the lower end of the FM band and a couple at the higher end tuning back and forth only takes a few clicks of the up or down tuning buttons. It's so great to finally have a clear clean stereo signal in the room I do most of my radio listening. 5 |

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product. 5 |

I needed a simple FM non-stereo radio which could run on AC and had a mono headphone jack. This radio does exactly what I need. 5 |

I have only had these a few weeks and am really enjoying them. I use them with my vintage stereo system, listening to streaming classical fm on my tablet, and monitoring music composition software. In all cases the sound is clean and crisp. Superb in every way. 5 |

This stereo receiver checks off all the features we need. The first selling points were the Bluetooth and FM receiver and the ability to connect to the room's built-in speakers in a small compact unit. It is a perfect size. 5 |

Use these for running lavs receivers into a mixer/recorder. No problems, but you have to be aware that it doesnt work for some devices depending on mono/stereo issues. For example this doesnt work to run a Sennheiser G4 RX unit into a single XLR input- that requires a stereo mini to split XLR channels. 5 |

Perfect replacement chord for some stereo receivers; in my case an RS 700 Yamaha receiver. Also works for some Fender guitar amplifiers. Did the job perfectly. 5 |

You could pay more for other high end receivers, but why would you? 5 |
