Fn Key Not Working On Corsair Keyboards
anyonymous | 2024-09-21 07:28:42 |
The key board works well and it is nice to have the numeric keyboard back again. Pros: The keys have the feel as the Apple keyboard and the layout is a carbon copy of the wired Apple keyboard until you get to function key 15. 16 through 19 are missing as that where you pair the keyboard to one of four devices. Cons: Only a minor issue but has taken some getting use to... The Safari short keyboard short cut to go back or forward a page. ( fn+ or fn+ ) do NOT work. Not sure if others may not work as I only use a few of the fn shortcuts. 5 |

Works well with our 76 key Casio and Yamaha keyboards. No issues! 5 |

There are limited choices in cases for 76 key slim keyboards. This Yamaha bag was very reasonably priced and fit perfectly. I will search B&H Photo in the future for my music accessories! 5 |

My wife and I both are longtime I/T professionals. We need great keyboards. We've tried them all. Nothing compares to the original IBM PC keyboards, but the Das Keyboard comes closest! Tactile feedback, key spacing, and placement are excellent. Throw in the multimedia controls and suspend key and this makes for a very complete package. We bought three after positive testing. It is a solidly built elegant and functional design. 5 |

CM Quickfire Rapid is the ten keyless mechanical keyboard I could find that worked with Mac out of the box. All multimedia keys work with Mac. A lot of mechanical keyboards I researched had some sort of issue with Mac or required some software to be installed. The CM Quickfire rapid works right out of the box. The most you would have to do is update your modifier keys in OSX and switch your key caps for option/command. I own two of these keyboards now, one with blue and one with brown cherry mx keys. I used the blue version for over a year and wanted to get a quieter version for use at work. I tried adding o-rings to the blue keyboard and it greatly reduced the sound by preventing the keys from bottoming out. The main problem I had with this solution was that the click of the blue key switches is still very audible and the o-rings decreased the travel of the keys. Making it feel too short in my opinion. The brown key switch version is much quieter since there's no audible click. To prevent bottoming out, I removed the o-rings I put in the blue version and put them in the brown. Making the brown even quieter than it already was. Perfect for an office environment shared with other coworkers. The brown key switches are nice if you like the the blue keys, but need to do without the audible click. The brown keys have a noticeable bump when you press down on them. Cons: Lack of backlit keys. I don't have a need for the backlit keys, but would be a nice to have. All of the other ten keyless with backlit keys were about double the price of this one. No USB hub. While not needed, would be nice if it also had a USB hub like some of the other mechanical keyboards I researched. 5 |

A well constructed bag for everyday transportation of synths/keyboards. Wont protect against damage like a solid case, but doesn't weigh nearly as much. Great for practices. Convenient large front zip up pocket and mesh storage compartment for cables, etc. Well built with reinforced handles and large sturdy zippers. One thing that would have been nice is a shoulder strap to help with carrying, but definitely not a necessity. I own 2 of these, 61 key and 49 key. Highly recommended. 5 |

Dump all your Apple keyboards!! This one is a dream to use. The key I hit is the letter that appears. No need for extensive edition, corrections, deleting and rewriting as is necessary with Apple keyboards. And B&H is a great company -- efficient, friendly, cooperative. 5 |

This little keyboard is one of the best portable travel keyboards I have ever used. It is quiet but you still get confirmation that you have pressed a key. It is almost paper thin and fits anywhere and takes up almost no space at all. 5 |

Let's start with a basic feature of this keyboard: It looks really cool. Seriously, I've never said that in my life before, but it's aesthetically beautiful. The tilt is perfect (though non-adjustable), the backlight of the keyboard is adjustable and really nice, and the body of the keyboard is constructed from metal, and feels completely solid. I feel like you could throw this thing off of a 747 and it would survive the fall. The keys themselves though, are where this review gets interesting. There are slight depressions in each key. I was nervous about this before purchasing the product. Now, having used it, I can safely say it feels amazing to use. Your fingers melt into the keys as you're typing. They also have more distance between the key and body than the apple keyboards, which I'm not crazy about. The pairing feature- being able to instantly link up to 3 devices, is awesome. Especially in these work-from-home days where I move between two laptops and a desktop. I can change the keyboard instantly to adjust. The most underwhelming feature for me, is honestly the most touted: the craft-wheel in the upper left. It does have different functionality in different apps, but I don't find myself using it that frequently. Maybe that will change. Mainly, I was looking for a top-notch keyboard to replace all keyboards, not some something with tons of bells and whistles. And this is a beautifully crafted (no pun intended) keyboard, with a great feel, design features, and and functionality. I can't recommend it enough! 5 |
