I was looking for another carbon tripod, and came across this one amongst the many offered by BH Photo. It checked all the boxes for me, and it was on sale. The half-bowl head sounded interesting, so I went for it. After receiving it, and using it many times over the last couple weeks, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The fit and finish, the levers and clamps, the tolerances, all much more than adequate for my MFT system. The half-bowl head, I love it!

B&H had a killer sale on this box, and it is replacing my old junky gun boxes for pistols. This is Pelican quality; you cant beat it. Right size for several pistols on two layers of foam. Pluck-and-play makes customization easy.

Guide for those who never bought B+W filters before. When you bought filters 43mm and smaller, B+W shipped it with the circular foam included. B+W did not ship the circular foam for 46mm through 52mm filters in this small box, so you would have to remove the circular foam to fit your 46mm through 52mm filters. I mostly shoot with B+W UV Haze, ND 0.9, 022 Yellow, Hoya X0 Yellow-Green, and Heliopan Step-Ups. I prefer to keep them in B+W filter boxes. B+W filters nowadays come with leather wallets, which you cannot tell what's inside unless you open the wallet or peek at the writing behind mesh on the back. I thought about filter wraps and wallets that hold multiple filters, but I don't want to risk the inside material sticking or damaging my filters. They are often bulky when folded up and hard to place in a camera bag. B+W single filter boxes give me flexibility when I pack my bag and it's easy for me to visually confirm what I need to take.

Fits several large microphones and keeps me more organized than several little boxes that they come in. The foam is easy to customize and it's built like a rock, as you'd expect from a Pelican case.

I love these apple boxes so much I got two. Cheaper, lighter, and a lot more comfortable to sit on. The foam is tougher than you think it would be. I've personally tested the durability of these apple boxes on location for weeks in the jungle during a recent shoot and they held up. The only drawback is they are not as stable as wooden apple boxes to stand on and support heavy objects but still remain highly versatile.

My brillian husband had the idea to use these boxes to holdup a platform for a memory foam mattress. They work great. Very sturdy and good looking.
