My tripod (Slik Pro 813) is a fine piece of equipment, but lacks a spirit level. I need to achieve a perfect leveling of the tripod/panorama head as well as the camera to achieve optimal results when shooting panoramas. Using the Manfrotto Leveling Head makes it a snap to achieve a level surface for the panorama head. Far easier than adjusting the tripod's legs! The adjustment locking lever is robust, the spirit bubble easy to see and the three sets screws lock the panorama head securely.

Am able to connect a professional studio mic and headphones to my iPad with this! Totally rocks for webinars, teleconference calls, Skype coaching calls, Blab, any two way communications or video conferencing apps. My only pet peeve is that my RODE VideoMicro does not work on it. :( Not sure if that is because of the cable or the mic. Still need to test some other mics to be sure.

Very clear sound. I bought for my home studio, my first pair of professional headphones, so not much experience to compare. But I can tell the clarity of the sound is top quality. Comfortable.

I am an independent musician and when I am NOT recording at a professional studio, I have a set-up at home to do rough drafts/etc. I have the MXL Mic Mate Pro hooked up to my MXL microphone. This Mic Mate Pro provides phantom power & connects directly to my macbook. No reason to have a weak tube pre-amp & millions of feet of XLR cords anymore. PROS: Super Easy Set Up (I can plug it in & record), Super Light Weight (easy to travel with, seeing how I use a macbook, I might record at home, a friend's house, a vacant warehouse, etc), Headphone & Gain Controls directly on the piece (this is a HUGE improvement compared to other XLR/USB converters, including other MXL products), Sound is super clean and sometimes I will record vocals at home to have them mixed and mastered at a professional studio - This saves me money, as I do not need to pay to record my vocals and just have the mixing/mastering which is going to be time I'd be paying for normally anyway. CONS: I feel like the Headphone Volume should be able to go a little louder. I have to control that on Adobe Audition (the program I record in) if I need it to go louder than what is capable on tool itself.

I own a semi pro studio in Ransomville NY. I have tried other so called isolation headphones. The CAD DH100 phones reject outside noise better than some of the more expensive name brand models. Most drummers that record here go out and buy their own, once they use them. Buy a set...you won't be disappointed.
