Foldable Portable Outside 5 Feet Tall Speaker Stands

Very nice stands. (I own two.) Very portable and still tall enough and strong enough to hold my battery-powered lights on location. Superior construction, as I would expect from Manfrotto. (I still have a Manfrotto tripod I bought in Rome in 1989. One minor repair and it works like new.)

I needed a solid portable backdrop for parties and events. LOVE this one. Very heavy duty and stable but light, simple to use, and it's huge vertically and horizontally. The only minor issue is when you put it up by yourself. When the horizontal bar is attached to the two stands and you raise the stands, the fit is so tight (benefit!) that you have to raise one side a few feet, lock it, then raise the opposite side a few feet, and so on because raising one too much will pull one of the stands inward. It's totally manageable, and other than that this is a wonderful backdrop.

Purchasing these stands was the best money I have spent in a long time. From the moment I opened the box, these stands had quality written all over them. Assembly was a breeze, and all necessary parts and tools were included, as were the clear and well-written instructions. Once assembled, these stands are quite hefty. I really like the padding on the top plate. It should be noted that the padding is very firm and not mushy, so a speaker of pretty much any weight can safely sit on the pads. Despite the three-point mounting, you can be sure these stands are VERY sturdy and stable. I really liked the options for the feet...rubberized cones for bare floors that can be removed, revealing 1.5 spikes for carpeted floors. The feet are also adjustable for precise leveling. I purchased the solid black and they are visually quite striking. I plan on ordering a second set of these stands. I give them my highest recommendation. I should also note that purchasing these from B&H could not have been easier, and the shipping was fast! These stands really allow my small speakers to sound like they are twice their size. And the 75 lb. weight capacity allows for essentially any stand-mount speaker. Ultimate Support should consider adding a broader selection of stand heights to their product line. This is an outstanding product.

This speaker stand is hefty and built to last. According to the description, this stands is made of steel and aluminum which makes it heavy-ish, but this shouldn't matter if you're not moving it around. What I like about this stand is that the top plate has a thick rubber base which should prevent a speaker from sliding and the feet also have rubber feet which prevent it from slipping. This could last a life time. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Geez, why did I wait to get these. Makes life so easy with my portable and foldable background.

I am using this case for a Manfrotto Monopod 250A with the foldable feet and a small head that tilts. It is well made and also has a pocket.

I use this bag to carry my light stands, umbrellas, PLM's and tripod and still have room for more stuff. Outside compartment holds all sorts of misc stuff. Great bag!

A solid piece of equipment that stands nice and tall.

Just a wonderful tripod... It has all the bells and whistles for my needs .. I'm 6 feet tall and this thing does not make me slouch.. best of all of just folds down to 16 inches making it a breeze to carry around even on a backpack or my moment rugged sling 6l bag
