Folding Bluetooth Keyboard With Trackpad

Great keyboard and trackpad!

For this iPad i had two options. The Smart Keyboard from apple or this. And I’m glad i chose those. The keyboard has a trackpad and a place to keep the apple pencil which i though i wont really need but found to be super useful.

I have an iMac from late 2009 and by bluetooth was not totally compatible with the Magic Track Pad 2. Before ordering the trackpad I researched on the internet, spoke to people at Apple and B&H. What I got was varying opinions. What I concluded was that I should spend the extra money. When they arrived I paired by trackpad to my iMac without the adapter. It worked initially. But when the iMac went to sleep, the pairing was lost. I hooked up the adapter and since then the trackpad and iMac are happily paired. One last comment. Since I bought from B&H and live out of New York State, there was no sales tax. That combined with the lower price for the trackpad at B&H, I saved money versus driving to the closet Apple Store. This really makes your iPad into a computer. There is nothing this keyboard cannot do. The keys have good tactile feel and the trackpad is very good.

Fits iPad perfectly and half the price compared to magic keyboard while having a full keyboard and trackpad.

Quick and easy install ready to use. A little learning curve getting used to the trackpad. A little more detailed instructions on use of keyboard and trackpad would be good.

Performs as claimed and expected. Get one if you need to charge 4-8 AA's or AAA's. I use this to charge AA's for my wireless keyboard, trackpad, and also for an older Brother label-maker. I have fancier conditioner/chargers for the rechargeables I use in my Speedlites, but they're probably overkill. These should/would be fine.

We purchased this for our TV station to connect to one of our KVMs. It is -much- better than a simple pull-out rack for a miniature keyboard and mouse, which ends up being quite cramped. Plus we save the rack space of having to have a monitor in the rack. The keyboard is basically full-size and there's a trackpad... some of our engineers don't like using a trackpad, but we use the USB pass-through to let them plug in a mouse, so it's great! We did need to buy a special cable, USB Type A to USB Type A, to get the pass-through connected up though. Build quality is outstanding.

Upgraded from the old 2013 Apple Wireless Keyboard to this one and I like the scissor switch keys on this one way more than the chiclet style keys on my old keyboard. There is a nice feel to it and the Space Gray color fits the trackpad. With the numeric keypad, the trackpad is a little more off to the right than before, but I'll get used to it.
