Folding Keyboard For Ipad Mini

I gave my wife an 11 iPad Air to upgrade from her 8 year-old iPad Mini. She used a key board with it, so I got her this keyboard for the new one. Seeing that this keyboard has all the features of a laptop rather than the simple typing keyboard she used to use, and the larger iPad, I am wondering if this is now just a laptop with detachable keyboard? Anyway she likes it, so five stars.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Audio quality is way better than the mic in the iPad mini.

I purchased this cover after reading a favorable review by the tech editor at The Daily. It offered the promise of a magnetic (on/off) front cover, protection for the back of the iPad, and a unique folding (origami' options) support structure. I had previously used an Apple magnetic cover and a clear snap-on back, but not only did the two not integrate well despite the latter's claims, the Apple product allows only a limited positioning of the angle of the iPad. This product is beautiful (I have the Black color), and it is expertly crafted and fits perfectly my iPad 2. It allows true versatility in positioning of the iPad by simply rearranging the folding cover: portrait, plus several landscape angles. It does this remarkably with this svelte folding cover -- somehow offering great stability. I enclose the whole iPad | Moshe product in a zippered neoprene sleeve and it's perfect. No ugly heavy cover to prop up the iPad! Its a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Just a terrific product. I am reviewing this here as I buy a second one for my brother as a gift.

I got the Zagg Pro Keys (folding/flip out style detachable case with my iPad Air 4th generation and it didn’t cut it. It seemed flimsy for continuously opening and shutting (mobile). It was broken in 4 months of household use. I scrapped it and replaced it with the Zagg Rugged Book and have zero complaints. It stays charged, allows me to take my iPad Air 4 anywhere with confidence, and has well thought out features (volume, playlist forward/reverse) excellent backlighting, etc.). I’d recommend the Rugged Book for anyone who wants a durable keyboard/case. I love it!

I had a lifeproof case before, but after a few years it just started to fall apart, and the folding “stand” and cover got weak and my iPad would no longer stand. The otter box is rugged, the “stand” cover provides upright and keyboard positions, and provides excellent protection for the screen. Love it!
