I was surprised to only find a catalog pamphlet the only documentation with all the parts in a plastic bag, no box other than the shipping box (bulk buy packaging?). I was wondering how all the parts go together, a few minutes of studying the bits and it became obvious. All together now, very sturdy and holds the control head for my radio very securely. Im just starting out with this whole video scene but Im not ill-knowledgable. My whole rig that I need to support with the cam mixer, microphones, cables, accessories, weighs probably 12 minimal and goes way up from there depending on the accessories i have. This thing says it can only support 8.9 pounds... boy are they wrong this thing can handle way more. I love the sturdiness off the tripod as a whole, a lot more metal parts then there are plastic, hardly any plastic parts at all. If you have mixed feelings about this...DONT!!! It will blow you away when you finaly get it and start playing around with it!
