Format Using Cmd

Using SFX 200 in the lightweight, large-format, Fujifilm 6x9 as a standard film (not for infrared effects) almost exclusively on the Wyoming High Desert, and in the Yellowstone back-country. Using a normal 25 red filter (add 2 stops) the effect is an expanded grey-scale - not the contrasty, often empty shadows (extreme blue-light filtration) of a red filter with ordinary panchro film. Can't explain the magic... Also, atmospheric haze vanishes (as expected), often to the point that negatives reveal what was not seen in the viewfinder. Processing: Go to the extra expense, and process SFX 200 in the recommended Ilfotec DDX (1:4 dilution) - it can be the secret ingredient... I'd love to see this film marketed in 4x5 sheet format.

Using a medium format film is a treasured art. The consistent quality of Kodak film provides a solid standard which has never failed. I can go right to the negative for proven results.

Using this filter holder on large format 8x10 camera lenses that have 105mm and 120mm Filter threads. It's well made and thin enough to clear wide angles.

I already own the Linhof 3D micro head, but I decided to buy this finally with no regrets, it is better than my Linhof head in operation, they look like similar items, but they are not the same !! I chose the quick release version, It works well with my Linhof Techno 69, although it is a bit hard to reach the flip lock release at times, after a few tries for getting use to, it turns out to be fine, otherwise choose the classic turning knob version, which shall be more appropriate for large format cameras with a huge camera base, This head is great for marco work and Large format photography, because it has the most precise movement of Geared Heads, I use this on a Gitzo 3 series tripod with Geared Center Column GS3311GS, this set up is simply the best for my use with Medium Format Cameras like 503CW, and Linhof Large Format Cameras, because it is very stable, I would also recommand the Arca Swiss Univeral L Bracket to use with this head, it will make the entire setup very user friendly and versatile in operation,

FULL FORMAT took about 15mins on a 8 Gig card. Tech at Tascam said it could take hours depending on card size. Be aware, QUICK format it if on set. If you FULL format it it will lock up recorder till its done. If you stop it in middle of format like I did (pulling out a battery) because it would not turn off. The card was then not recognized. I had to format it (Quick) in my PC, then it was recognized. Hope this useful to a new user of one of these, who like me like to push and test every function, button and knob, and sometimes lands me in trouble like this. Great recorder, very quiet, very intuitive operation, compact, solid, well made. I guess Full Formatting just takes time? Never used that mode before.
