Formidable Special Camera

A very good camera for video even though it doesn’t have IBS. The 400 mps and log recording makes this quite a formidable little camera. 18-55 lens is also of extremely high quality. Not a fan of focus by wire though

Easy to use, the start up kit included in price. Formidable picture taking tool even for a photography newcomer.

Can fit 33 external HDDs. Tight fit, but it can do it. It's a beast. In the right hands, could be a formidable weapon. Or the wrong hands...

As a professional photographer with wide-ranging photo interests I have wanted to purchase a TS lens for years but was deterred by the intimidating price of the Nikon TS for my limited usage. Fortunately I came across the Rokinon 24mm TS just before embarking on a Fall color excursion to Colorado. Although I had limited opportunities to use this lens, and had it only a few days before the trip, I was pleased to find that the learning curve was very small. Even more pleasing was the resolution quality. My normal go-to lens is the formidable Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 for my landscapes. But in the vastness of the mountain environment it fell short, literally, in the wide angle compositions as did the equally formidable Nikon 16-35 f/4 VR. The most impressive aspect however was the ease of manual focusing and the resulting sharpness, which rivals both the 24-70 and 16-35. I'm now hopefully looking forward to the introduction of a Rokinon 85mm TS. And thanks to B&H expedited delivery the 24 was delivered in time for my trip after ordering it on short notice.
