Forza Motorsport 4 Simulation Racing Games

My kids play Forza and other racing video games using this wheel. This is as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

I've been racing Forza Motorsports for years. Having had the Thrustmaster 458Italia (sub $100) wheel, the TMX, and now the TS-XW, I can say with absolute certainty that this is the finest wheel Thrustmaster makes. Many friends use Fanatec as well as Logitech wheels. However, the compromise with those seems to be in price or feel. With a lot of research and some trial and error of the other wheels, I decided to take a flyer on the TS-XW simply based upon price and specs. I was not disappointed. The brushless motor offered more than twice the torque while racing. I had to start turning my highly tuned specs down by about 30%. The road feel is good, and it's very easy to feel when a car is pushing the front wheels. Some will say they can feel "cog". You can definitely feel the belt teeth ever so slightly. However, it was never enough that I felt it interrupted my racing experience. I have around 30 hours already on the wheel and fade doesn't seem to come into play. The external power supply as well as the more efficient fan keeps temperatures down even into the 3rd hour of racing. If there is a down side to this wheel, it's that you'll love it so much you'll wear the wheel itself out. The suede is delicate just like that of a real race car. If this worries you, definitely buy some inexpensive gloves. I, however, was not worried. With the "ecosystem" setup, the wheel itself is easy to replace if it becomes too worn. It feels so nice in my hands that I actually feel bad about how poorly my project car's steering wheel feels now. Lastly, you'll want to install the conical brake mod. This is the greatest thing I've ever seen for this style of pedals. It helps with feel and realism on a level that has to be experienced. For the money, it's extremely hard not to give this wheel 5 stars. Even the suede wear issues are typical of real racing car steering wheels. If you have a chance... get it. Forza games.. this steering wheel is just amazing.. no complains.. but you 100 percent need to buy a stand! This force feedback is no joke!!!

Only by about 3%-4%, but still 6 cores are doing better than 8. Runs reasonably cool and no problems with games or professional apps like Photoshop or Lightroom. For most people wanting a fast enough computer without a big investment this is the sweet spot.

I first experienced flight simulation in 1998 with the Microsoft flight Simulation program. I'am retired now and became interested in flight simulation again and downloaded the MSFS 2020. My old control apparatus was not compatible with the new MSFS so I began searching for new controls. I was familiar with B H from purchasing photo equipment in years past. After contacting BH sales and being placed on a waiting list for a basic joystick I received notice of the availability of the one I recently purchased. Thanks B and H for getting me back on track.

New games have come out in Sim Racing that require the need for wheels that can do the job, and this one does it. This wheel shape is used in many cars other than F1. My husband loves it! He put it on his T300 GT machine. Note: You might want to wear gloves as the grips get pretty gritty feeling after heavy use. But ...no problem. :)

Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again.

I love it. Very comfortable, very enjoyable, although I would hope there would be more real racing games like track racing even derby racing would be good. I only found one racing game and it was go kart overall it is the best in gaming bored Xbox and playstation away
