Fred Texas Underground Weather

I got this lens after reading the thorough review at Fred Miranda forums. This lens is at home on a A7R body with the MF assist (focus peeking). It is a lens that makes you take a step back, slow down, compose and bring back the joys of photography rather than just pressing the AF button and snapping away. The lens has beautiful color and rendering that is already sharp wide open. What's really unique about this lens are the sunstars that form already by F/1.8 that you really can't get much with any other lens. Along with that we get 5 stops of IBIS, proper EXIF data and distance scale. The aperture control is also very precise and a joy to use. This is a lens that you really need to put some time with to learn which in return will reward you with beautiful pictures! I thought about getting the loxia 21mm f/2.8 but the better handling, f/1.4, 5 stop ibis instead of 3 of the loxia, exif data and how the voigtlander does things slightly better overall pushed me towards the voigtlander. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |

This arm is exactly what I needed. I made an oversized copy stand to photograph old city maps and drawings of the underground utilities. I'm using the arm on top of a ProMaster Super Heavy Duty SLR II Tripod. Had to put a couple of weights on the tripod just to make sure it wouldn't tip over with the arm fully extended. 5 |

We have had 2 electrical storms that have fried our switches connected to underground network wiring. I have installed these at both ends of outdoor run and have not had any surges since. Seem like they work as advertised. 5 |

Bought this lens for a trip to the Kansas underground salt museum. Lighting conditions were poor to say the least. Did not disapoint! Shot in very dim conditions @1/8 second (1600 ISO) without noticable blur. Goodbye flash! 5 |

I got the Clip 4 back in March for my birthday and I am amazed with the quality! I’m an underground miner and I left this speaker underground accidentally a couple weeks back. I left it in a stope that got loaded with explosives and blown up a couple days later and the speaker survived! Absolutely incredible it still works and was still hanging up on the wire where I left it haha!! I just bent the clip back in place and it’s good as new! 5 |
