I ordered product Sunday evening and had on my doorstep that Thursday, NY to Seattle, regular UPS shipping!! Boxes will do the job, giving me easy access to slides as I periodically go back to the original to rescan as technology improves. Great step up from my ammo boxes and 35 piece slide boxes and about about 40% space saving. Might consider adding a 3rd hinge for redundancy.

The free 2 day shipping was a deal maker for me, especially me being in the west coast. High quality and durable, the option to carry using the handle on the tote and an opening to carry using the handle on the speaker is handy.

I have been using this cart for moving boxes and furniture from my girlfriends apartment to mine (in the same building), and to the storage unit in our neighboring building, though it's main purpose is to get totes of equipment from my apartment, to the car, and into a venue. It expands, contracts, and folds up in seconds, so you can just throw it in the car once you're loaded up. I've shaved 10-15 minutes off my load-in/load-out process by getting this cart. (I have yet to try it in real MN snow.)I have not used the cart in the hand truck configuration, but I don't think I will need to with how well it works on four wheels.The side bar/handle on the smart caster end is tall enough so I don't have to hunch to hold onto it when I am pulling the cart. I'm 5'9 and this has been a problem for me with other products in the past.You do have to assemble the cart when you get it, but it's quick and painless if you grab a socket instead of listening to the directions and getting out a socket.

For moving around studio lights especially with large soft boxes these Avenger light stands can't be beat. Once in place you can lay sand bags over the wheeled part and it's secure. Even without sandbags it doesn't want to tip over.

Like many people, I had carousels of 2 x 2 slides from many decades back. A friend recommended moving the slides from the carousels and putting them into these boxes for easy storage. Since each box held up to 750 slides, I was able to consolidate 30+ carousels into 4 of these storage boxes--saved so much space and I still have the images close by if I want to view them. Did like the idea of the double latches to ensure the boxes did not accidentally open. Much thanks to B & H Shipping Dept who had these boxes in my home within 2 days--thanks so very much.

I can't compare it to others but I have three Matthews Apple Boxes and can say it's a good strong box. No moving parts. No frills. Just a good strong box. It will give you what you want from an apple box, except for the apples.
