Free Cloud Storage For Surveillance Cameras

There are lots of free applications for IP Cameras, but if you're serious about IP Surveillance you can't do better than Axis Camera Station, and the best way to acquire the licenses is from B&H.

The CC plan includes Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and 20GB of CC cloud storage. The CC plan also includes access to a number of mobile apps which can be used on your iPad or iPhone with the CC cloud storage keeping all of the devices synchronized. The CC cloud makes it extremely convenient to share your processed photos with others.

I'm very pleased with the Synology Surveillance system. Disk storage is a central part of a security camera system, and when I started researching additional storage for my old Windows-based system, I realized that Synology has a great add-on called Surveillance Station. I bought a Synology storage array with the intention of either using it with my existing Windows system or perhaps with the built-in Surveillance Station. I tested Surveillance Station and it worked really well - great software if you want their stand-along application - great web interface if you don't want to use the desktop app - and a great mobile app. I threw out the old Windows box and went with this complete solution instead. I will also point out that Synology offered me free trial licensees so I could test this with all 32 of my cameras at once. Definitely worth contacting them if you have questions or want a full-scale trial.

I purchased one of these to upgrade the storage in my Drobo and have some additional WD Surveillance drives of a smaller capacity in my Drobo. These are solid, reliable hard drives powering my Drobo, and they're built for the most challenging circumstances.

The VOSKER camera is a great camera. I use it for surveillance around our house and it does the job perfectly. Thankfully it doesn’t pick up every little thing either which is great. Also there is a setting where you can change the sensitivity because I know sometimes the cameras can pick up every little thing. I have my camera set on video mode and the quality of the footage is great both day and night. Also what is awesome about these cameras is you can still use them as a trail camera and what’s great is you can put them high in the tree and have them look down on the trail or a field edge. I had never used a surveillance camera before until now and there’s no other camera I would use for surveillance than VOSKER. Thanks Dustin
