Free Drag Racing Simulator

The perfect rig for me to get into simulator racing.

A really nice start to my racing simulator. Pricey, but justified by quality.

Used it for an airshow and then NHRA drag racing, and i love the pictures i took with this lens.

I have a racing simulator and run iRacing from my gaming laptop but my HDMI cables were too short to get the laptop in the right position so that I can access it while in the simulator. Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again.

This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display. The reach and steadiness of the arm is beyond reproach: even perched at an extreme angle with a DD wheel setup vibrating nonstop, this holds steady.

I am very pleased with the Oben BC 139 ball head. It has more than adequate holding power to secure a heavy lens mounted to the head and not drift. This is a well made product. It is a good option for anyone who is looking for this class ball head. The only thing I dislike about the head is the stupid design of the button that controls the drag. The manufacturer should have provided as is convention a separate thumb knob to control the drag. The button can get accidentally set in the full lock position and confuse the user as to how to unlock the ball movement. There is no instructions how to free the drag control. Obviously, to back off on the drag the drag button needs to be twisted to a clockwise or counter-clockwise position, but which way? The stupid low profille button is hard to free up when the head is locked tight. It was an idiotic idea to use for the drag adjustment control mechanism and needs to be changed.
