Free Medical Bar Code Scanner Reader

Holds Bar code reader very firmly, in places that are hard to get to.

Our medical office has need to scan 20+ page documents very often. We historically used brother multipurpose printers for this, but the automatic document feeder always breaks long before the scanner bed or the printer part. While those saved space, they became too expensive to replace every time the document feeder went bad. The Canon scanner is just the document feeder. Software is very easy to use, and the scanner integrated with the software we were already using (paperport) effortlessly. Better yet, it appears very reliable and it is much faster than the MFC machines. Footprint on the desk is as small as I think it could get. We were so happy with it that we bought a second machine, and in the future, we won't go out of our way to buy printers with an ADF tray. I plan to eventually put one of these at each clerical workstation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Brother ADS-4900W scanner in our busy medical practice. With medical records being predominantly electronic these days, we often have a need to scan and upload a large volume of outside reports and records into our EMR software. This scanner is able to scan and upload a high volume of paper very quickly. Set up was’t too complicated or time consuming. The unit itself is compact and takes up a minimal amount of desk space and runs pretty quietly. There are lots of options to customize this scanner, including a workgroup feature, and the ability to scan from an IPhone or Android phone. There are also several scan-to options that include email and cloud capabilities. Even with the basic default settings, this machine is a real workhorse.

Great stand for desktop use. Only one drawback is that bar code label took some work to remove.

Purchased this to use for positioning bar code readers, sensors etc to allow us to design permanent mounting fixtures for the devices on nachinery.

I got this game for free when I purchased the i9-9900kf CPU from B&H. You will get the code but it takes a few days because they do run out of codes. I kept checking every day and about the 3rd day I finally was able to get my code.

Has taken me and allowed me to go one step further protecting my family and my dogs. As not too long after I received this product and begin to use it. My dogs outside begin to park outside in a frantic manner. As I grab this headlamp and my coyote hole puncher. I was able to go hands-free and protect my dogs. I really like this safe. The biometric (fingerprint) reader works every time. The safe is a convenient size that fits under my bed such that one would have to lift the bed to take away the safe, yet it's convenient for me to access it.I mainly purchased this for a secure place to store things like my loose cash, silver and gold coins, credit cards not in my wallet, my passport and expensive watches. Although my home is quite secure this is more for when I have workers in the house or have a party. I didn't want the aforementioned items just sitting in a drawer. When I have people over, I push the safe more under the bed so it's not visible to anyone too.This safe is easy to set up and understand. It also includes 2 secure round type keys which you can use if the fingerprint scanner stops working or the 4 AA batteries die. Note the unit remembers your programmed fingerprints even if the batteries die in most cases.I also did a lot of research and this brand is not nearly as easily broken into but just pushing hard on things such as the finger scanner than other brands.Recommended!
