Free Phone Calls From Pc To Us Cellular

I often use my modem on, a Windows 10 computer, to make phone calls, and need to hear the dial-up sounds - to make sure the call is going through, and there is no busy signal. I tried 2 other modems (Lenovo & Sewell) that didn't produce dial-up sounds. Based on the recommendation of a US Robotics tech support rep., I tried the US Robotics model USR5639. It does make dial-up sounds, and dials very fast.

This headset supports connectivity via USB for use as a PC headset and via Bluetooth for use with cell phone calls. The base makes it easy to switch between PC and Bluetooth. The bluetooth connection is between the base and the cell phone, with DECT to the headset. So you leave the phone on your desk and take the headset with you if you want to walk around. DECT has much better range than Bluetooth and is not affected by microwave ovens or WiFi, so calls are clear and consistent at all times.

It is excellent for the studio,especially for phone calls.

Does exactly what it says, provides a convenient way to record phone calls.

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

Having the free monthly cellular option has been *fantastic*! I've greatly enjoyed seeing the changing trail scenery and temperature over the year, while keeping track of critters (four and two legged) crossing the land. Turkeys, racoons, coyotes, foxes, an eagle, loads of deer, and my rifle carrying meat-making friends and family coming by for a visit. This has been a great gift! I look forward to purchasing more sometime.

I like not having speakers in my ears. I don’t miss phone calls or notifications.

Speakers are loud and crisp! The only downside is you cannot use it for phone calls.

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.
