Even if you're just shooting cat videos with your iPhone, which, admittedly, I am until my wife and I are on speaking terms again, this wonderful little microphone really cuts down on ambient noise compared to recording without it. If you can afford it, you should get it but, if you have any artistic sensibilities, don't attach it with your iPhone to the selfie stick of self-affirmation. I use this mount for taking photos/videos indoors, and also for hands-free FaceTime sessions. It fits my iPhone 7 with an Otterbox Defender case.

I use these headphones for quiet listening from my iPhone and laptop, and also as monitors for my small recording studio. As of this review, I've used them heavily for over a month. These are magnificent headphones with quality construction, and the soft over-ear cups are very comfortable even after an hour of use.

For what it is, it works. I can now use one of my high-end studio mics when recording youtube instructional videos on my iPad. Wish it were stereo ... but I can use one of my bigger/bukier interfaces for that.

I'm only a beginner when it comes to studio video recording, and am using it for marketing and business videos. I've been looking all over for a good boom mic stand that would allow me to raise a shotgun condenser microphone overhead and out of shot. This one works perfectly. This stand is sturdy. It seems like it could handle quite a bit of weight. Of course I didn't swing on it or anything to see what the max was, but it holds my microphone great, and that's all that mattered to me. I would recommend this stand.

I use this studio arm to make recording of my voice - for my YouTube videos easier. I did have to pull the cable out a little further near the end - where the mic plugs in. In order to allow the best configuration of the mic (with an isolation mount attached) without crimping the cable end - near the connector. One little note is that if you use the extension arm, make sure to have the retaining screw at the base of the mount out as much as possible - also make sure that the arm is all the way in. It might be a little difficult to know when it's all the way in, just push it in until you know for certain that it is fully inserted into the mount. (When I first set up the studio arm - while using the extension arm. I thought it was all the way in, and it wasn't - which could have caused the studio arm to fall, which would have messed up my computer)

I rig a temporary video studio in my library when recording lecture videos. This background is the perfect size. I hang it behind my chair using two light stands (one to hold the center - landscape style - and one to hold a side). I emote in front of the camera and the green screen keys right out of the image.

Works perfectly for recording directly to the iPhone!
