Free Wifi Signal Booster Software For Windows

Complete game changer. Way better than any signal booster. Just set up a second wifi router on the other end of the house. Love it. 5 |

Works as expected. You definitely need a signal booster when using a cable this long. 5 |

I needed to replace a high-capacity $1500 commercial HP duplex scanner that was older tech, ran only under Windows 7 and was buggy. But when it worked, it was pretty fast which was the reason I tolerated it for so long. Since I use only MAC's, I having trouble justifying running Windows 7 thru Bootcamp just for this application. I decided to bite the bullet and I chose this scanner. It is not only faster but automatically figures out what it's scanning and is pretty accurate in its selection. It also removes blank pages and so far I haven't had any mis-feeds. The only problem I have encountered is sometimes the software and scanner un-links (wifi connect) and I have to restart the software and scanner to re-establish the linkup. I'm guessing it my poor wifi signal in my office (which I need to fix). This doesn't occur with a direct connection. The ScanSnap software is also far superior to PaperPort which I was using with the old system. When there was a glitch with PaperPort I'd often have to reboot the computer and restart the scanner to get it working again. So in summery I am very pleased with this scanner and the ScanSnap software and highly recommend it. 5 |

I love this motherboard, it's got amazing features and was pretty simple to set up. The biggest downside is that for Windows 10/11 to be able to install the drivers for the wifi card to work, you need an internet connection. But you can't get an internet connection over wifi since Windows can't use the wifi card by default. Maybe this isn't a problem if you have a working windows installation with the latest updates but I was doing a complete clean install from the official Windows 11 USB Drive and I needed to plug the computer into ethernet to be able to set up the wifi. This was pretty inconvenient as my router was on a different floor of my house... Also the audio drivers that are by default installed comes with some bloatware software that is really difficult to fully remove. It also has some way to automatically restart itself and stay in your system tray (as a shortcut to re-download the software suite) even if you uninstall it and remove it from startup applications. This type of behavior from software rubs me the wrong way and really makes me reconsider buying ASUS motherboards in the future if this type of software is necessary to use them. This all being said, once I got everything set up and installed, it's worked flawlessly for me. 5 |

The Polsen XP-2 2-Channel Microphone Signal Booster is not something I realized I needed until I started using it. I am using it to boost the signal on my desk microphone and it's connected through my Senal USB adapter which provides the phantom power. It can add up to 25db of clean gain which is impressive. I didn't realize the difference this would make until I actually hooked it up and started using it daily. I no longer have to be right up on my microphone to get a reasonable signal output. The other application I tried this out with was some interviews I recently shot where the interview subject was soft-spoken. Being able to get that extra gain really came in handy. I like that the xlr has locking connectors and that this is plug-and-play. It's made of all metal and feels rugged so it should hold up to some punishment over time. It works great, now the only issue is I have to buy another to match my other setup. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

Amazing sound! Works well on Linux; however, the majority of free software is just for Windows or Mac. I'm currently using it with Harrison MixBus v6 and work like a charm. Excellent AD converters and the 4k button adds a remarkable hi-end characteristic. You can go wrong with this SSL gear. SSL, please, add official support for Linux, we are a vast community. 5 |

Long cables tend to degrade signal. This cable has the booster midway to solve that problem. 5 |

I am using a 50ft HDMI extension: source-50ft cord-booster-8ft cord. At first no signal would come though. When I added the booster, the signal worked but would drop intermittently. So I added the power adapter and everything works fine. 5 |

They say you can't send HDMI over 60 feet, but with KanexPro HDMI cables, you can! The buitl-in signal booster also has an adjustable signal equalizer. These are quality cables! 5 |
