Purchased this item to use with a Canon 5D3 and EF 600 F4 IS combo for bird photography. No regrets at all. Easy set up on the door of my Honda CRV. Learning curve for where to place and what height to set is easy. I use a gimbal head also and have had no issues. Mounting has been on the inside of the door. With the weight of this combo, I am a bit hesitant to try mounting to the outside of the door. for fear of creating e dent in the metal. 5 |
