I bought the ES60's a couple of months ago and am pushing them with a Schiit Audio Freya tube preamp and two Schiit Vidar class A/B amps as mono blocks. The speakers sound really good in a balanced system using XLR cables and for the money these speakers are an excellent value. 5 |

This tiny preamp is simply amazing, it outperforms several other preamps I tried, many times the price of this one (such as the Schiit Freya). The sound is extremely detailed, dynamic, crystal clear, lush, the soundstage is both deep and wide, it provides an airiness I don't find in other preamps. To put my review into context, I am running it with a NAIM NAP-250 end stage and Pearl Acoustics Sibelius speakers (highly revealing). 5 |

I am soooooo pleased with the Roku Wireless Speakers. I had a Sony 5 speaker surround sound system before and I replaced it with the wireless speakers. I am blown away! They sound so clean and crisp and they are WAY LOUDER than the Sony system. Setting them up is a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes. Also, the build quality is top notch! The speakers weigh over 4 pounds each! Weight is a good thing when it comes to speakers. I haven't always been a fan of Roku but over the last couple years they have really stepped up their game with the Roku smart TV's and now these speakers. I am in love with these! Though the speakers have the sound and look I was looking for ... my goal was to hang them behind me on the ceiling.. w/o wires showing so I figured I buy wireless,,,, we’ll the deceiving part is that thought they advertise wireless... there are not fully wireless.. So had to buy stand for the system .. which was a hole other story ... they don’t advertise a mount for them and ended up buying a set and modified them so to these speakers not having a screw hole made it very hard to mount but after some MacGyvering I got all set up and pretty happy. 5 |
