Front Camera Photo Stabilization

Must have for some photo stabilization

This camera fills the gap perfectly between a camera with full size features versus the portability, but limited photo capabilities of an advanced iPhone. With the 40x optical zoom and image stabilization, its reach easily outperforms my aging Canon EOS 40D even with its 28-300 mm image stabilized zoom lens that I used for youth sports photos 12 years ago and its 24-105 mm lens that I used for vacation photos five years ago. It is larger than my iPhone, but it still small enough to fit in any jacket pocket and most pants pockets. The image stabilization is amazingly effective, even at full zoom. Our favorite most recent photo is a full size shot of a new-born deer fawn taken from a distance so far away that the fawn and its mother had no awareness of our presence. The camera is easy to use but also has some advanced features for the more sophisticated photographer. Because of its convenience, it has become my everyday go-to camera. I'm not sure how often I will want to haul around the full size camera from this point forward.

These are very good binoculars optically, and the stabilization really does let you see much more detail. I use them for wildlife and astronomy. You can see the moons of Jupiter and almost make out that Saturn has rings. You can also somewhat see Andromeda Galaxy as a hazy patch in a light-polluted night sky. On the downside, they are bigger, heavier, and much more expensive than non-stabilized binoculars, and I wish they had cost half of what they do. The front elements are pretty close to the front, so I got screw-in lens hoods and lens caps for extra protection following the advice of others. I also wish the eye-cups were softer. Overall, I do enjoy them more than I would non-stabilized binoculars and I'll be happy with my purchase if they work reliably for many years.

It is excellent binocular the stabilization works very good ,it's like having a tripod but theres no tripod ,reading the reviews they were all 5 star a few 4 star and that was do to stuff like the fold down eye cups or the case or front lens caps ,I look at it I am paying for the glass the gyro the binocular it self if I want a $100.00 case I'll get one , the fold down eye cups seem heavy duty they fold down nice and easy ,as far as front lens caps they never stay on anyway, when I ordered it I got the 58mm filters and will also protect the lenses from fingerprints scratches ,it's cheaper to replace the filters then sending it out to get fixed I recommend the front filters as you would want some protection with any fine binocular or video camera I probably will get the eyepiece ones but they were back orders. It is on the heavy side arms get tired after a bit but it's a easy fix ,it's kinda hard to go back to a none image stabilization binocular after having this one , I am not sure how it would do on a boat in the ocean but I am not taking it in salt air ,all in all I would buy it again and recommend it very well made very solid I S works very good.

Bought for photo shoot for Christmas with Santa and the kids. It just works - autofocuses and activates the shutter - quickly and easily. I've used it with my D7000 in IR Remote mode. IR ports on my D7000 are on the front and also the rear of the camera - so it works in front or in back of the camera. Note: do not activate the camera autofocus by half-depressing the camera's shutter button - just turn the camera to remote mode, and atart using the remote. I understand the battery works for years without replacement. Comes with nice balistic nylon slip pouch, but the remote itself is not much bigger than my thumb, and flat, around 1/2 inch thick. Nice addition to my camera bag of tricks.

A very useful accessory which allows more flexibility when videoing and increases camera stabilization.

Work well on front and back camera.

As I shoot photo and video I needed the stabilization which is convenient, fast to begin to use, light and stable. Really it's a great thing for all my purposes
