If you're running Steadicam with a RED or an Alexa, this plate is awesome. You just slide off your dovetail on the sticks, and slide the camera rig onto your steadicam easy.

Filming outside and only have 2 filter trays? THIS is the filter for you. It combines 3 filters in one, and is excellent when using a RED, ARRI Alexa or other DSLR in an outdoor environment where you need to blue your sky (pola), stop down (because of the bright sun), and take care of infra red pollution (to crush your black tones in-camera). So the beauty of it is that you only use one of your filter trays, and have 1 tray left for whatever other FX you want to use... Classic Soft, or maybe you need more Neutral Density to stop down even more.

My setup: Arc, Sonos Sub (not the June 2020 version), 2x Play:1s for L/R rear surround, LG TV, no Atmos pass-through. I have this in a large den, replacing a Beam, and the sound difference is obvious even without enjoying the full Atmos capability. What I think is most impressive is how discrete the L/R front sounds, every bit as good as hard-wired front speakers I've had in the past with sound seeming to eminate from the corners of the room, not the ends of the Arc. The Beam was great, but this is notably better and better suited to larger rooms. I use is for both TV sound and to stream music and both are excellent. Alexa integration is comparable to Beam/Move and a nice feature if voice control is something you're interested in. It sometimes doesn't seem to understand all my commands but that's no different than any of the other Alexa devices I have around the house. I can't compare the sound to the Playbar but it looks a lot more streamlined and, I think, looks better mounted under my TV than the old Playbar would. The only con would be the price. A $799 soundbar is not a necessity in life by any stretch of the imagination but if thats in your ballpark to pay, I don't know what else someone would be looking for. Disclosure - I did not pay for the Arc but I was also not solicited for a positive endorsement or review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're quite pleased with the Ring Video Doorbell. Out of the box, the Ring app did most of the work to set up the device with our WiFi network. Before we knew it, we were able to see, listen, and speak at our front door. We are especially happy to see the unit is provided with a rechargeable battery pack (no running out of batteries or searching for that obscure battery size) and an interchangeable bottom cover. We were also able to quickly integrate the Ring with our Alexa system; the Ring doorbell announces throughout the Alexa system when somebody is at the front door. We're really impressed with the Ring Video Doorbell and highly recommend it.

Fits everything I need for my Red Setup - and then some. Bigger than the 1500 style as you need to use both hands to carry and load.

I develop it in HC110 (since I have that already, anyways) and being able to do that under red light in the open while watching is just great! It also is great to load film cassettes under red light, a great practice for the real deal (panchromatic film). I always make sure to refill in time so that I have at least 50 sheets left.

This film doesn't require total darkness to load or unload, and I don't find the IR effects as dramatic as the old high speed Kodak IR from the 80's and 90's when using the 25a red filter. For this film I have used a Kenko R64 filter, which I imagine filters at 640 nm. I just used a 25a red filter on this film, but I am expecting that film back this week. I uploaded a picture of runners in Gettysburg, PA and west Cleveland near the Cuyahoga river.

Load everything up and move it from one location to the next. All my equipment fits perfectly. Collapses down to fit in the front seat area of my car, with the wheels on the floor. Don't need a truck just yet.

I haven't actually used this yet, but I did load it, weigh it, and pretend to put it in an overhead for practice. Seems perfect for my gear. I travel with a DLSR, mirrorless and 4 lenses. There is room for that and a change of clothes if a bag gets delayed. The front compartment easily holds my 15 laptop. The laptop compartment sort of locks by attaching the loop on the zipper to the integrated lock for the case (watch the video). The case rolls easily. I agree with the reviewer who said it would be nice if the bottom of the case was flat, but with my gear that is not a problem. The recommended accessory GRID-IT organizer of 10X12 does not fit the interior front pocket and looks like it has been removed as a suggestion. All-in-all this looks like it will be a great bag. It will be my carry-on but seems sturdy enough to gate check on smaller planes.
